jasmine vadera, I think that most people on this board would think it a better idea to have a wedding budget that allows you to pay cash for it. A wedding is just a day; the marriage is (meant to be) a lifetime!

No way should anybody get a wedding loan. I spent about $100 on my wedding and I have been on my honeymoon for 30 years! It doesn't have to be expensive to be a wonderful memory!

Welcome Daylily!!! You notice even those of use who have been around here for a while still come back often to welcome the newbies!! My advise is to sign up for some of the threads that interest you. You can choose to receive updates to them several times a day, once a day or even less. I find that keeping up on the new posts often give me good info or resourses to research and impliment. Hope to see you posting your knowledge...don't ever think that it is to trivial...someone is always searching for ANY type of info/help regarding finances.
Best of luck and browse the numerous threads and learn! I love this website...so many new people (so nice and helpful) as well as TONS of useful, info, resources and ideas to use; regardless of if your into baby steps or large leaps!! And again, Welcome!!

I'm trying to decide whether to do a daily or weekly journal or to post in the forums. I need an outlet for my financial angst and perhaps just need to get it out in writing whether or not anyone reads it.

My personal thought would be to do pen and paper daily...like a "to do list" and then use that to write your post from using your thoughts/concerns.

Please don't ever hesitate to post a question...you'll get a lot of responses. Use what fits best for you...everyones situation is different. Best of luck on your journey for knowledge!
