Hi all ! I found this site thru craigslist.org the Bham, AL location. In the either free or barter section. I have been guesting at the site for a little while and have already found alot of useful information.

29yo corporate attorney married for 3 blissful years with the girl of my dreams. For a while I was really getting depressed due to the mammoth student debt that I carry (damn lawschool). We both make decent salaries but I just never seemed to increase our savings. It seemed like we were stuck in a rut. Then I discovered this site!! I took some awesome advice after lurking for awhile. I opened an ING savings account transferred our crappy Wachovia MMA and started beating inflation (hooray!). I switched car insurances (I LOVE GEICO) and saved us literally $280 bucks a month on car insurance. More than anything this site gave me empowerment; I have taken back control of our finances, made a real budget, and no longer allow myself to be buffeted by the highseas of chance. Although my debts are still HUGE, I feel like we have a plan, and I can see how we are in control of our financial life, not simply afloat not daring to look an the huge debt gorilla lurking behind the door. Thanks to all!
