Hello! My nick name is Greta. I am from the mid-west. I am a housing counselor who is neck deep in the foreclosure crisis. I blog anonymously because I often tell real stories that I get to hear about from my clients. I mostly save my money because 99% of the people I see on my job need my help because they didn't or couldn't save theirs. Although I do have some debt of my own, joining this site has given me new accountability of paying my debts off. I also joined recently. I've been lurking since 2005 and I've really learned a tremendous amount from other bloggers and forum posters. I figured I would join the ranks and maybe...someone can learn from me too.

I recently moved to Chicago to begin my career in finance and have thankfully found a job. It's an entry-level banker position, so I'm still learning all the tricks of the trade.

I've been an investor since 2007 (great year to start.) I like to buy broad indexes and enroll in DRIPs, then sleep at night.

I have two academic degrees and would like to further my education, not in a broad MBA program but in a narrow M.Fin. program.
