Well, since I've been posting around, might as well introduce myself.
First off, been lurking around here quietly for about 2 years.
Anyway..I'm 39, in not the best of situations (On disability, living with parents, and mom takes every dime I get though that for rent
) and have been trying to learn how to make money on the net so I can have some spending money. Oh yes, as I've hinted; I am a bit of a gamer tho other than free ones + FFXI lately, that's been mostly stifled until I can solve the money situation since computer/console gaming is a expensive hobby!
Been working on Swagbucks (got my first Amazon gift card there recently), using knitting/crafting and etsy to try to make some money, and also in selling some books I turned my nose up at b/c they stunk. Been taking it one step at a time; right now the goal is to get $20 so I can get this really nice mother of pearl and onyx necklace fixed. It needs a new clasp. Next is to grow the business/online selling and get a copy of Windows 7 and start saving for a new PC. (it's about time I upgraded; to me, "new pc" though means get the parts for one since I have a brother who custom builds the family pcs. ^^) I kinda already met my first goal, which is a little funny; get the $30 for the new FFXI expansion that's coming out in March. I got that in Amazon gift cards already (Traded a extra PS2 controller to PC adapter for a Amazon gift card, and that first Swagbucks gift card + the one that I'm waiting on should cover it and shipping; FFXI is already avail though amazon so I think the expansion should be.)
Going to be looking into Ecrater too as well; more than one place to sell stuff that isn't insane will help a lot! I have tried things like Mturk but that doesn't do well enough sadly.
