hey all, i'm dee... 24 years of age, working full time in the music industry. have got an awful spending habit, barely any savings and am pretty broke a week or two after payday. so here i am on this forum to in an attempt to right all my financial wrongs.

I am a frugal homemaker, and I enjoy saving money though the use of coupons, rebates, freebies, and free samples. I cook meals, and like to learn to save money by using inexpensive ingredients. I am college-educated, and have recently started my own blog site where I share ideas I have learned about saving money on grocery bills, food, etc.

I don't like to pay full price for anything, as I am sure many of you here in the Forums can relate to!

Hmmm...cool I'm Kenny, and I live in Independence, KY. I'm a UK Wildcat fan, a Reds fan and (grudgingly) a Bengals fan. I'm a freelance writer and IT professional for Hewlett Packard.

I basically went through a nightmare time in my early thirties running up 60K in high-interest debt. It took a lot of hard work and diligence to eliminate that debt. I guess you could say I learned the hard way.

Subsequently, I wrote a book about my "adventures." I'm here to give whatever help I can, build some credibility and (hopefully) drive some people over to my website.

Hi. I'm liking this forum, seems friendly with lots of great insight. I'm a research staff member at a university in the midwest. Recently married. I love to save money, and very frugal and simple in my life and ways. I'm an "anti-hoarder" in the sense that I can't stand clutter and am always looking for life hacks to simplify my life (and our married life, though that does pose its challenges). I love following financial news, and have been swing trading for several years outside of retirement investments.

Love reading, writing, exercise, taking it easy, and foreign travel (my biggest and most expensive crutch).
