Introduction

Good Evening All,
I have joined this forum to get a bit more information on how to pay off my debt, both charge card and student loans. I am on short term disability right now (now on my 6th of 9 weeks) and the cut of income by 50% has thrown my finances into a tail spin. Although I am not behind on anything right now, my husband and I are cutting it close. We are also interested in investing, but have no education in this topic. I look forward to reading the forums and gaining information. Thank you, Mandy

Hi all, I'm a mum of 4, and I work full time, as does my husband. We've a little bit of debt (credit card, car loan, no mortgage luckily), and we like to travel, so I'm here to clean up some finances and get back on track.

And, I am single. No kids. Have a cat. Do volunteer work.

I found this site today, by searching the internet for advice about frozen milk.

I'm new here to the forums, but I've been a reader of SavingAdvice.com for some time. Lots of great information here, and I'm enjoying getting to know new people in the forums. I am a WAHM with three kids (ages 9, 11, and 13). We live in a small ski resort town in Colorado, which has a pretty high cost of living but an amazing quality of life. So, we keep things simple and enjoy the outdoors as much as we can.

I'm not necessarily new here, but it has been a long time since I've been around. (Probably haven't been here since 2009) So I decided to start fresh by making a new account and becoming reacquainted!

My name is Nicole and I'm 23 years old. I currently live in Tennessee with my parents, as some recent health issues have come up and I needed a stable place to stay to get back on my feet. I am married with a five year old son but it is a very complicated situation. My husband and I separated almost two years ago and I moved away but we decided to get back together a few months ago. We haven't been financially able to move to be physically together so we are living apart still. He and my son are living in Ohio currently.

Because of my (very) recent move and health issues, I do not currently have a job, so I'm hoping that once I find one and have a source of income of my own, this forum will help me make good decisions with my money (as it has in the past).

I'm very excited to be back! This place always felt like home, haha.
