Oh, is there a way to put a ticker on this site?

        • Welcome everyone.

Hey Jeffrey, is there a reason this isn't sticky anymore?

          • Bump - Jeffrey, is this purposely being allowed to drift down and not be sticky anymore?

            • Introduction

Hi! I would like to introduce myself. I have been reading posts on this site for several years. I joined in January ’07, and I am finally getting around to posting my intro!
My name is Sherolyn, and I am 47. I am married to John (celebrated 27 years this past Valentine’s Day), and we have seven children – 24, 23, 19, 18, 16, 14, and 9. The youngest five live at home. We are a homeschooling family. I love being frugal and like to read the posts on this site to stay focused (or get me back on track when needed)! I have lots of frugal things I can share and hopefully will take the time to do that with all of you!

              • Hello! I'm 25 and I live in Oregon. I've been here for a few months; before that I was in NM (while my boyfriend finished grad school) and before that I was in NY (which is where I spent most of my life). I'm looking forward to staying put in one state (and what a pretty state it is to be in) and saving money. I'd like to get a retirement fund going through my new HSA, maybe flip a few houses one day, and stop living from paycheck to paycheck (although I am debt free, and that's a big step). There are some extraneous circumstances in my family right now that make saving money an interesting challenge, but life is full of surprises one way or another, I suppose!

                • Hi from the new member!

                  Hi,

I am new to this forum. I want to share my knowledge here with all other members.

Also espect the other members to help me in clarifying my doubts.

                  Cheers,

                            • Hello everyone!

My name is Jenna. Last year I made a solid promise to myself to start a savings cushion. Over the past few months, I've diligently managed to tuck away a wonderful $5k - the most I've ever had saved in my life! I can't even begin to tell you what a wonderful feeling of accomplishment it is.

My new goal for this year is to aggressively tackle all debt while continuing to tuck a tiny bit away. I'm also an avid silver and gold bug
