Found this place yesterday and had to join. Sure is a lot of good reading here. Hubby and I are trying to get out of debt so we can finally have our new house. What a chore it is! Plan to visit this place a lot. Thanks for having me.

Hello! I found this site via google--I can't remember what I was searching for--probably something to do with saving for retirement or putting kids through college. I'm an American SAHM (two young daughters) living in Singapore. I look forward to being a part of this community.

I've been visiting for a couple of months after finding the site through a Google search. It's been extremely helpful as I've been looking at on-line banks.

It snowed here in the midwest this morning and will be 54 tomorrow.
No monotonous weather here.

Hello all! I'm Michele and I'm new to the forum. I have actually been visiting this site for some time and know Theresa from another forum but I never realized there was a forum here as well!

I'm a homeschooling mom to 3 girls and our family is on a tight budget. I have a blog related to saving money on your grocery budget with recipes and tips. Can't wait to read more here and get to know you all.

I'm from the UK, it's not a bad place to live apart from the weather.

We're living on one income at the moment, we're a family of four so I'm always looking for money saving ideas. I've got an interview tomorrow so hopefully we'll be looking for savings ideas soon!

I'd like to take a moment and welcome all of the new members -- Nate and I have been pretty busy the last few weeks and although I try and read almost everything placed on the site, I haven't had time as of late to respond much. Stumbled on this forum about a week ago searching Google for some money saving advice. (Like who couldn't use advice about saving money?? Except maybe Donald and Warren)

So glad I found you guys! Hope to be able to be able to contribute as well as learn a.m.a.p.

Background: I'm a WFHM trying to save money for retirement, college for 6 wonderful children, while enjoying life along the way!

Hi everyone - I just joined today and am looking forward to learning the tricks of the trade for money making and saving.

Alittle about me - I had never much cared for money one way or the other - a serious mistake, as it happens, because if you don't care enough you can end up pretty screwed up. So - having decided I want to live well and not owe for ever, I've embarked on this quest of making - and keeping - some bucks.

Lately I've discovered Dave Ramsey - I like his people apporach. And now I've found this forum and look forward to many entertaining and informative hours here.

I work fulltime and I Mystery Shop to supplement my income.
