Hello, I'm Laura. I'm 24 and live in NJ. I've been married for almost 3 years now and we don't have any kids yet. I've just recently started to really get on track with our finances. We were really dumb and made a ton of mistakes. Right now we're trying to save to buy a house, and I eventually want to be a SAHM. I'd like to run a daycare out of my house, but I need a bigger place. Our current residence is like a closet.

My real name is Chris but I love the a.k.a tuscan,I found this site on a day when i needed a financial advice and now that it is helping me I'm not leaving.I love the forums and the advices, this is a good financial site,I search every where on that day and none can match the advices I received here,great job keep it up!!!

Hi Christine,for advices on your situration it's best to post it on the discussion area,where more members can see your problem and you would get 90% advice that way.when I started i needed an advice I post it in the discussion area,and got answers,plus i help someone out...O.K what ya waiting on post it.

Hi, how is everyone? I am new to the site, having only posted once and unfortunately it was a negative one. However, I am a positive person with a wonderful hubby and the most beautiful 11 yr old daughter who thinks she is 20. I love football, baseball, and basketball. My hubby could not care less for sports. He says he is a football widower. We have been married 13 years and God willing we will be married another 130. God bless all, and have a great day.

Hi everyone,

I am a newbie here. I am looking forward to coming here often to seek challenges and advice as well as sharing. I am 29, have one adorable cat and working two jobs that I love doing. My dream is to finish school, Move out of the Bay Area and purchase a home in Montana. I am also in the process of adopting a deaf baby. I made so many financial mistakes thinking I ought to purchase new cars or nicer apartments because I used to think buying a home or anything like that was out of my realm. Now I realize that dreams can become a reality but first I must clean up my mistakes. I am looking for motivations to stay on that path and to achieve my goals or die trying. I got a long ways to go but I am determined.

I also hope that I can be a positive contribution to this site. I am looking forward to meeting you all.

I am Kate. My husband is stationed overseas so overseas we went. We have four kitties and a rabbit and are looking forward to moving home when the time arrives. No kiddos but we can always use helpful money saving advice so here I am. lol

Hi everyone,

Im new to this site and I feel kinda intimidated, but im hoping to learn alot here. Im 18 and new to the whole saving money thing. My husband and i are stationed at Fort Polk, LA. Even though im very frugal, we always seem to be broke. Thats probably cause we have ABSOLUTLY no idea what we're doing, but i guess you pick stuff up along the way.

I collect expired coupons and send them overseas to military bases. Military families can use expired coupons at the commissary or "military grocery store" up to 6 months after they expire. While in the US alot of military families depend on coupons to keep their budget, once they move overseas they lose access to where they get most of their coupons

Hello all, I am Eric. My wife and I are both teachers in the heart of Illinois. Our 5-month old son is glad that we started his 529 with money we had saved out of our budget, but now the diapers and clothes are starting to add up. To continue to save, we have to find creative ways to cut, streamline and save more. This is why I am here; and to read the updates on the $20 Challenge...pretty cool.

Hello everyone. I guess I had better introduce myself. I got so excited I just started posting

My name is Lynne. I actually registered last year sometime and then got so busy I didn't look around. I appreciated the emails that come every day in my email and since I had some time, I decided to take a look around. This is a great site!

My husband and I live in Oklahoma and own our own business. We take care of our own finances and I am afraid I didn't do too well in that department. We went to a Dave Ramsey Financial Peace seminar at church and that helped me so much! I know this site is going to help me even more. I am so excited by all the topics listed here. What a great learning place!

We have a beautiful almost 2 year old granddaughter. You will probably have to hear about her every now and then since she is the apple of my eye. I have 2 wonderful grown sons and a great daughter-in-law and potential daughter-in-law. My husband is the absolute best!

My husband and I love to travel to Colorado every year (going in February) for a ski trip. He skis, I enjoy the gorgeous scenery. We have been so blessed!

Oh...one more thing...happy birthday to the birthday members listed today.
