I just got $13.91 from Rakuten. They have a great program. Our biggest problem is forgetting to use it. We could be earning so much more.

We got a local handyman to address the gap between the new counters & existing backsplash -- should only cost about $450 all-in to get it done & end up looking great -- he's gonna install schluter around it all, basically a metal trim to frame the backsplash. Should look really nice.

All,
I got a coupon in the mail for a free bag of coffee. I totally walked a couple of miles to the store and got the free coffee - and I didn't buy anything else.
Two wins - free coffee and exercise.

I keep forgetting about this thread. Yesterday, I sold a LEGO set to a guy on Marketplace. I had it posted to ebay also. It went for $160 which is less than I was asking on ebay but I don't have to pay the 15% fee and I don't have to pack and ship it. When he got here, he saw that I have a bunch of other sets and said that he would be interested in all of them. When I get back from my trip, I will make a list of everything I've got and come up with a price to ask for everything. It's going to be upwards of a $600 transaction probably.Steve

Guys - I found some seriously discounted flavored coffee at my local Kroger this afternoon.
Check this out - I paid like $30 bucks for 14 8 ounce bags of coffee.
I love flavored coffee. And normally each of these bags would have cost $8 or $9, so it was a seriously good deal.james.c.hendrickson@gmail.com

A few years back, I signed a contract to stay in the military for a set period, and in return I get a $20k retention bonus each May ($15,600 after tax withholding) through the end of the contract. But I always forget about it, so it's a happy surprise when it shows up, which happened this week. I'm using it to fund my second batch of I-Bonds, topping up my savings account (I set a cap on what I'm willing to keep in cash), and the rest will get sent into investments.
