I'm not buying but seeing the tremendous decline in the price certainly is upsetting. Would, coulda, shoulda sold at $330.

Got over heated but the correction is going to be over soon. Fvrr is following the gig industry index like uber and etsy and they are getting crushed.

I certainly hope so. I'm holding on.

          • Is everyone still holding? I was up 79% in February before the first correction, now, I am barely maintaining 10%. My stocks have dropped close to a 100k now. Too many growth stocks and IT companies, so it's going to be a long wait to recovery I think. I am shocked at this selloff, it almost seems worse than the covid selloff. Inflation up, so what, interest rates up, so what, but investors are pulling money left and right, man.... This stinks..

I had bought a few more Fivver shares on the way down, but it is still dropping, my average cost now is around 127, and the price is at 150 now. Ouch. Just 3 months ago it was over 300, it's dropped half... Ugh.... EDIT: LOL that 150 didn't last long and it popped back to 170+ in an hour. Power move! I contemplated too long to buy more at 150 thinking the market was going to continue its slide today.

            • I haven't checked my holdings yet, but i did get a notification text saying that my weeks-old cheapskate order for a few shares of AMD went through this morning in the sudden downward blip. I'll take a look at my FVRR, and if I can scoop up a few more discounted shares, I may.

ETA: I don't think I'll necessarily buy this second, I'm not itching for more.... But I think I'll at least put in some more "bad day" and "really bad day" trades for FVRR, just in case the selloff continues & I can snag a deal.

              • lol I'm taking a savage beating in my retirement accounts on FVRR now (not that savage, but running a 5k loss). I do have FVRR holdings still in the black on my taxable (exact opposite way I'd prefer it).

I shifted my gambling towards Etherum and BTC. Managed to snag a coin of ETH back in the $2400 range. kinda DCA'ing over here. Sold most of my FVRR winnings @ a profit, time to jump on the next speculative bandwagon (****only out of my disposable gambling income. Don't worry my true retirement & savings goals are tucked in Super-Not Sexy index funds)

                  • but i will be riding out the Long position (currently down 33% at 10/15k ) in my retirement. After using FVRR for artwork on some projects I put up for sale on amazon. I can see that there is a ton of opportunity and significant amount of utility in FVRR. I'm not scared to see what it will reap in the future.

                      • I am not selling anything, I am riding out this whole thing. I sold stuff during the covid crash that I regret as it all came roaring back in less than a year, no idea how long this selloff will last, but I think long term holding on most things will still be ok.

                        • Riding out long position. I bought FVRR at the 45, 110, 150, 195 recently, 205, 218. I believe in the platform. I think contractors and self employed are the wave of the future. I'm taking a serious beating on it right now but i'm going long as well. I'm still holding CCL and JETS and HA. I want to sell JETS soon after this dip. I want to also get out of WM and TUP as well. I am done with those plays. I think HA and CCL there is upside a bit more. I have a bunch I bought that are hitting LTCG now and i'm debating selling my 50% gains on the Tech etfs I hold in taxable or selling everything off.

After the Pandemic drop in March 2020 I sold almost everything during that time stupidly, and all of those companies I had jumped over the price it was before the pandemic crash. I had FB, MC, MTCH, and a bunch of others that were worth quite a bit, and I sold them near the bottom of the sell-off. I made money, but I lost a lot of gain and opportunity because I sold them. Looking back now, it probably was still not a bad decision as I got cash and I bought pandemic stocks, or post-pandemic industries. I sold some pandemic plays, but kept most of the post-pandemic stocks. AMD, FVVR, Paypal, SHOP, SQ, IDXX, and a slew of others. Although almost everything in my portfolio is down, except for T, I believe growth companies will come roaring back, but when no one quite knows yet. I am nearly in the red overall for the year, down from over 70% gain in February. But I know if I sell these I will kick myself later as I am in this for the long term, 3-10 years if not longer. I bought more of some of the companies I have, but I have many speculative plays like FLGT, NIO, QS, ZIM, OPEN, JMIA, etc. But not much in each one. I am well diversed except I don't have current needs like banking and commodities, but those will decrease soon as the US economy comes back. At least that is my thought right now. I am cringing looking at the red numbers, but.... Gotta wait..
