What did you declutter today? Part II

My daughter tried on her capri's from last year. We found one pair that has been outgrown.

There have been a lot of debate on 'expiry' dates. The gov't requires manufacturers to date products and consumers to use their own judgment as to whether to use the product or discard. If you do not identify any off color, taste or potency, you are ok. If you are frightened, best to pitch it out. It's like spices...items lose potency after a time...

The person who does men’s stuff at the consignment shop was not going to be in until mid to late afternoon. It was 11 am. Made an appointment for Fri afternoon. Therefore, I have not added the 85 items to my declutter count yet.

All my plans & appointments for the week might be going....you know where w/o a handbasket. My Dad was admitted to the hospital (ICU) w/rectal bleeding last night.

It appears Dad's issue might not be major. It might be a hemeroid, xxx or just the 'pipes' wearing out (he is nearly 93). The plan, as of 12N, is to scope him and move from ICU a regular room.

Dad was moved to a regular room last night. Don't know if they have done the scope yet or, if done, any results. I have to get the info from my brother as he has the POA's and the staff cannot legally tell me anything. The only reason I know about the room change is the nurse came in to tell my dad while I was there. DB did tell me about the planned scoping.

Dad's scoping found nothing.

Took my stuff to the consignment shop on Fri. Boss did not want anything. Told me too old, out of date. However, I had looked over the stock on Mon and my stuff did fit the store profile. ??? Guess I will just take to the 'better' thrift shops.

I have gotten 3 magazines this week. I am finished w/2 but instead of pick up recycling I am going to take to the hospital and leave in wait room. Just a different type of recycling.

I have a bag of kids' clothes to declutter tomorrow and a pair of girls' rainboots to take to a colleague.

During this week I have managed to fill 3 cartons with used books, clothes and toys. Today I passes DS’s bicycle to my new neighbor.

Why does DH have a 2004 Office Depot catalog????

Earlier this week, I tossed out several spices that were expired along with some old decorator sprinkles.

My roommates are leaving and traveling else where.... last weekend we started to declutter our patio (which kind of also serves a storage area for our house) and got rid of a lot of stuff, they will be selling some and giving some away!!! Patio looks way better!!!
