We have about $31k left, with about $1k per month going toward principal now. As soon as that's paid off, we'll start getting college bills!

I made my January payment today; $1400 instead of the normal $1200.

                      Balance should be around $51,985

Question is, can I make it a month and a half without making the February payment???

Closing the year's books. Everybody give yourselves a pat on the back for another year of payment stricken off the mortgage.
