I think it exists. If you are selfish and only seek let's say ill gotten gains (ie, ripping people off, selling drugs, etc), you may gain money temporarily but will most certainly not earn more. However, if you use your influence to help others, I believe God will bless you with more in abundance whether with more money or good health that you may make more money in order to continue helping others and spreading the wealth so to speak. What say you? Are you a giver or receiver? And how have things worked out for you? I am a giver, not a receiver, and things seems to fall into my lap where I've never expected to have an abundance of benefits of material wealth, health & money.

Karmic money, is there such a thing?

I think being a good person and doing the right things in life simply because they are the right things with no expectations of recognition or compensation always pays off.Steve
* Despite the high cost of living, it remains very popular.
* Why should I pay for my daughter's education when she already knows everything?
* There are no shortcuts to anywhere worth going.

My great grandmother told my mom that some people are born under a lucky star and their hands are always open to give. They usually receive riches because it crosses their hands since it's always open. She told my mom LAL is one of these people. Her hand is always open and she'll always be lucky with money. HA! I never thought about it much but my mom likes to repeat it to me especially now.
Considering where I started and where I am now I am truly blessed and grateful for everything. Maybe the open hand thing is real.
Wait I looked it up the approach emphasizes prosperity comes from being generous and maintaining a healthy, positive relationship with money instead of hoarding it with a closed fist. guess it was a real saying.

To be clear ... you're asking a relatively anonymous forum (made up of a diverse mix of atheists, agnostics, many flavors of Christian, Jews, and probably many more faith traditions than I could number) for their opinions about if there is a cosmic force out there driving your wealth or poverty ..... ooooookkkkaaaaaaayyyyy..... This could get sporty.
FWIW ....
I personally don't believe in a transactional God who is keeping score & providing good or ill to us as a result. Nor do I believe in a God who we can treat as a cosmic vending machine, wherein we insert 'good/bad deeds', and out pops a specified or demanded outcome.
No, I don't think that money or wealth is karmic in nature ... but I do believe that we will always face the natural consequences of our own choices, and sometimes the side-effects of the choices by others. Those choices & consequences will influence our future mindset, actions, beliefs, and so on. I also have found & trust that what we focus on will grow (whether positive or negative). So from your experiences, choices, beliefs, and actions, you may have a greater potential for a given outcome. But the outcome is not a foregone conclusion driven by karma or some cosmic debt that you are owed based on your behavior.

Either there is a god or there isn't.
Either that god is the God of Bible or it isn't.
Either that god / God directly controls and influences our daily lives or it doesn't.
Either that god / God takes a direct interest in my finances or it doesn't.
The universe is estimated at 14 billion years old. From one billionths of a second after that first bubble of space time appeared until today I can conceptualize matter condensing from energy, gravity pulling in clouds of gas igniting into stars, fusion and super nova creating all of the elements from hydrogen and helium alone, gravity again collecting star dust into planets, amino acids self organizing, and the nuclear arms race that is the evolution of life from a single cell to everything you see today, with out any need for divine intervention.
I mentioned last week about spending $50 on a friend, only to get out to my truck and find a $50 bill laying next to it. One hell of a coincidence! Is that karma or supernatural? Probably not.
One major point in life is just not being an asshole. The other point is being generous, with your time and your money. We're here to serve and the more we serve others the more we are rewarded for our efforts, in one form or another.

Nah. Because there are a lot of good people who are poor and struggling to get by. To buy into karmic money would be to accept that the rich are good natured and the poor are not and I don't think anything could be further from the truth. The utopian dreams of my youth have been crushed as I realized those who will do anything for money and power usually come out on top of those who act from a place of empathy and shared prosperity.

I don't believe in divine intervention. I do believe that "good fortune" is generally the result of good decisions.“Compound interest is the eighth wonder of the world. He who understands it, earns it … he who doesn’t … pays it.”
