Other than gasoline, what are you seeing going up in price?

One of the main things I have been seeing are groceries.
A lot of the things that we get at Aldi have gone up a dollar or more

Eating at restaurants has gone up, a lot. More than the CPI would indicate. Like 30% more.

Grocery costs were up...but I see that backing off some. Maybe it's regional? Grocery store shelves are stocked/overflowing and things are on sale where I live. It's not "cheap" yet, but they're doing a lot more sales.

I've run into some weird price increases. A gallon of washer fluid at the auto parts store is like $5+ now, where $2 used to be about the going rate (methanol shortage). A 2.5 gallon container of weed killer concentrate was going for about $65, and now it's over $120 (petroleum price increases).
    History will judge the complicit.

I've also noticed chlorine and other pool chemicals have shot way up

Definitely agree on groceries. I peeked at ground beef prices yesterday and it was $8/lb for pre-packaged 80/20. It's usually $4 and you can grab it on sales for $2/lb. We've been eating a lot of meatless meals lately.

Honestly it feels like absolutely everything is up. Last year I had 2 water heaters installed for $1300 each. Had to replace one of the same size a couple weeks ago and it was $1700. I asked why and the response was costs are up, can't help it.
Flights are super expensive right now. Hotel costs are up even if the hotel isn't close to booking up. Paid $112 for a one day rental car last weekend - typical cost is around $65 without a corporate discount code. Used car prices are still insane - I'm not sure how a low income or young person could even afford to replace a car right now.

We're retired, so it doesn't hurt us so bad as it does the average working family.
Our home is under construction and are eating out quite a bit. Meals such as breakfast and lunch which used to be pretty economical now often run $30 or so for the two of us.

On a positive note, gas prices have been coming down. I paid $4.75 on Wednesday. A couple of weeks ago, it was $4.95.

I think it's easier to say what hasn't been up in price. Products, building materials, and even diapers became more expensive by $1.25. I don't understand how people survive with the minimum wage and what will happen to the economy next. I happened to research this topic for a scientific article, and at https://sunnypapers.com/paper-samples/minimum-wage/ I discovered interesting papers from independent authors. I hope our government recognizes what it is doing and that the problems that are now shocking the world will not hurt us too much. Although what am I talking about? Gas prices have already been proof of this.

I bought an inexpensive DVD player for my brother near the start of the pandemic. Just bought almost the same version (comparable but the manufacturer had made one change) for my mom for roughly double the price. I think I got a good deal on the first one because it was before economic relief began. Add in supply chain issues, and I don't think the doubling in price in 2-1/3 years is due only to inflation, but it's definitely a factor.

Gas by my house is currently $6.59 plus starting today they raised the state gas tax. Grocery prices on some things have nearly doubled, but on others have only gone up a few cents. I feed a couple of feral cats and the cat food went from $.53 to .73 a can very quickly, which hurts. I tend to buy regularly used items in bulk, by the case or whatever for the best price, so the increases haven't been as bad, but I'm starting to feel like grocery shopping is a part-time job.

On the other side of inflation--my savings and CD interest rates are making me happy, and with another increase coming soon, will make me even happier.

Our cell phone bill went up $9.55.

The plan cost actually went up $12.00 but I get a discount through my job which reduced that. Add in the taxes and the actual jump was the $9.55, so $114.60/year.

Trash company increased bill by $5 per month. Almost a 17% increase.

I wanted to challenge them but I just ended up paying it. Have to wonder if they raised everyone’s or just select people.

I put together a grocery pickup order this morning.
Noted price increases on spinach, bananas, and bell peppers. Approx 10% up.
Looked at the price of wild salmon and decided to look for alternatives. Going with wild whiting instead.

I don't think this is a really recent increase, but I just printed out postage for a small flat rate priority mail box, $9.45. Well, it's still a better deal than driving to Minnesota to put it in hand.

Eggs use to be $1.79/dozen is more like $2.39/dozen. Milk used to be 9.99 for 1.5 gallons costco lactose free is more like $11.99 same 1.5 gallons. Gas is still $5.29/gallon. Just meat used to be more like prime steak $12.99 more like $23.99 costco ribeye. Just meat in general is a lot more expensive.
