Hard to believe that a local store wouldn't take back an unopened bag with receipts that had been bought the day before.

* Despite the high cost of living, it remains very popular.
* Why should I pay for my daughter's education when she already knows everything?
* There are no shortcuts to anywhere worth going.

So hard to live where you can no longer trust people to be decent and caring and not trying to pull a fast one. Very sad.

Think about a bag of dog food. How tough would it be for someone to use a syringe to put a pin hole in the bag and squirt something in? I don't have any pets but if I did, I certainly wouldn't want to bring home a bag of food that had been returned by someone else.Steve

Found M&Ms (11 oz bag) on sale at CVS. I had a $5 bonus buck and with the purchase of 4 bags, got another $4 bonus buck. I ended up with 4 bags for 75 cents each. On my way out of the store, I saw that the smallest individual bag (not King size bags) were 'on sale' for 88 cents.

My wife went to Fred Meyer and got 5 12 oz bags of coffee. She paid $16.65 for all 5.
The coffee was on sale, then she used two coupons to drive the price down. The coffee was normally $5.79 for each bag, so that's a rough discount of 50 percent.
Link to coupon:
We will be able to drink coffee for a two months on this buy alone. The same price would get you only 4 cups of coffee at starbucks. BIG BIG WIN.james.c.hendrickson@gmail.com

Last night I hit enough Bing reward point to turn in and get another $5 to PP which I then sent to my Acorns account. I now have $10 plus change in that accountThe second $5 reward came faster as I only needed less than 2000 points to get to it, but if I have time I can get a nice bunch of points daily.
I'm also investigating other on line ways to earn money or like one place I noticed had CVS cards which I can always use. There is a real limit to how many different programs you can work at a time, so I want to be sure I am working toward things that will matter. Like many of those places have sweepstakes, that don't interest me. I want money or the equivilant.

For the month of February we only spent $20 on auto fuel.
That's a savings of $180 from where we lived before!

My husband got a 4.5% raise. We were not expecting anything this time. And his bonus will be larger than we expected. I just raised the 401k contribution to 12% starting this next pay period. Now I might raise it again. I'm waiting to see what the dog's bills and the orthodontia will cost before I decide. We are using the bonus to pay his parents for those coins I didn't know about, so that will be nice not to have to think about.
