I'll have to check with Home Depot. I would like to get rid of them both for space and safety.
This morning, I went through a big pile of clean laundry and got it all put away. That helped a bit in the bedroom.Steve

I went looking for something this morning (didn’t find it). As I went thru several drawers in my bedroom I tossed or recycled 7 pc (including 2 now 10 y/o magazines I have NO clue why I saved) and moved 6 items into my to be donated bin. I do NOT count the donate items into declutter until I actually donate them.
I have to do a couple more things on line, then brunch and then a nap so I can stay awake to watch the Bears/Vikings game tonight. I think the NFL has its head......I just hope no player suffers a season/career ending injury on this less than pro field.

I took a clue from Disney Steve yesterday and deleted (can't tell you how many - it's embarrassing). Needless to say it was more than any I've seen admitted here. It felt good to get rid of them. Alot were surveys from a site that I'm probably not going to continue in the new year. One survey company I'm not to hepped up on is Survey Spot. Anyone have any look with it?

I packed up a formal dress, a sport coat, a decor pillow, a few shirts, a couple children's books, electronic toy and a moon chair. I will take them all to Goodwill tomorrow. I'm thankful the closest Goodwill drop off is just two minutes away. Makes it very easy!My other blog is Your Organized Friend.

This morning I was putting away some of my small boxes (collect them for use instead of stockings for stocking stuffers). As I went over my pile I was able to recycle 4 as not right size or too damaged to use.
Sirens just went off. We got about 3” of snow overnight so no trash pickup today. Since Friday is a holiday my next pickup s/b Thur but with 2 days of plowing who knows when it will actually happen. Due to the bad weather (cold & snow) I am collecting quite a pile of recycle. I am already up to 5-6 trips to get all the trash & recycle to the alley pickup area.

W-O-W Great going on the ongoing de-cluttering and purging process. I hope you all give yourself rewards for your efforts. Drawers, shelves, bookcases benefit from semi annual purging. Our needs change, but we tend to just add items without taking anything away. As you put your new gifts away, ask yourself when you last used the existing items. TV Organizing Guru Julie Morgenstern promotes S P A C E
Sort: put like things together, go to other rooms
Purge: trash, sell, consign, re-gift, donate
Assign: every item retain benefits from having a specific home
Containerize: for example a box for all donations, 3 part laundry hamper, baking box/ingredients
Equalize: how many T's, how many catalogues, how many bed sets, how many mugs/tableware etc.
Do you still love and use all your older stuff? How much is enough? What would the worst thing that would happen if it were no longer in that room [better yet...can it go?].

Today has been a pretty good day of decluttering. I had put off decluttering underneath my kitchen sink because I have an area that is almost impossible to get to. The kitchen is very small and could definitely have used a lazy susan to be able to get to items. I threw out all of the excess stores plastic containers and cleaned the bottom of the cabinet. I also cleaned another bottom cabinet. It had alot of plastic newspaper wrappers, etc.
I also deleted alot of emails and tried to do a survey that was awaiting for me. The payment already appeared in my paypal. Love that paypal and I have requested a transfer to my bank account.

I feel like I've been slacking lately. I'm sure I've still kept up with at least one item per day but I haven't done anything particularly noticeable.
I did just enter a couple of Coke Rewards codes and tossed those caps. I also just put out the recyclables, including the stuff that was sitting in my trunk from my office. So that was good.Steve

Just went through some old dress clothes. Kept a few black slacks, but getting rid of the ones I never wear. Threw away a bunch of socks getting worn on the bottoms. I still have one small crate with sentimental books, and a stack of DVDs and CDs I just can't seem to let go, while I have them already backed up. Same with my old star wars figures, GI joes, and transformers. I sold certain ones when the movies came out, and made a bunch of money off my old legos, but can't sell the others. I guess thats why I'll always be a kid at heart."I'd buy that for a dollar!"
