How many states have you been too?

How many states have you been too? I have a friend trying to do 50 by 50. I've done 29 and missed 21. Now how do I figure out how to do it? Road trip? How long would that take? I'm thinking a southern driving trip one day of the USA. Would two weeks be enough?

24 for me. We’ll make it 26 next summer if we go on the cruise we have booked.

        34 states + DC.
I have no burning desire to visit any of the states I haven't been to yet.

There are 3 other countries I'd like to visit. 2 are on my "bucket list" and 1 is just because my sister moved there. So far I've been to 10 countries outside of the USA.

I’ve been to DC too. I would like to eventually get to all 50. Certainly every state has at least a few things it is famous for that I’d like to see.

Not sure how many foreign places I’ve been. Mainly Caribbean islands, Canada, Mexico, and Israel. I’ve been to Heathrow in London but never left the airport.

Quick count says I'm about 34/50 plus DC and Puerto Rico. Definitely would like to get to 50/50 - that's a bucket list goal.

39! My biggest gap is in the Northeast and in the west I haven't done any in the Montana/Idaha/North Dakota area. Would love to get to some national parks there. Definitely want to hit all 50 eventually.

I think you could definitely knock off a chunk of that list in a couple weeks. Texas is tricky because its so big... like you could put a foot in the state to say you've been but it would add a lot of time to see a good portion of its highlights.

Where ironically it is the easiest to hit multiple states in a short period of time. We commonly travel between NJ, PA, NY, DE, MD, and VA. Sometimes we hit 5 of those in the same day.

I've been to 24 states plus DC. Outside of the US, I've been to Mexico, Canada, China, Ireland, Jamaica, and the Bahamas. I'd like to see a whole lot more of Canada, the Great Lake states, and New York.

I've hit most states & many countries in my various travels.... The 11 states I'm missing are all Midwest & Northeast: Indiana, Ohio, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine.

My wife is in a hybrid DPT program with a university in Philly, and I'll be traveling out there with her on some of her trips for in-person classes (every 6-8 weeks). That should give me an opportunity to knock out at least some of those northeastern states.

If you'll be in Philly, you're only about a 30 minute drive to Delaware and an hour from Maryland so those are easy enough if you have some free time.

I don't think I'll hit 50 by 50, but maybe 50 by 60? After retirement DH and I are avid road trippers. I'd like to road trip without the kids maybe and just hang and chill and see stuff. Go for a month at a time.

Ha true. I've been to all of the ones you listed. Missing CT, ME, MA, NH, RI and VT - the WAAAAY northeast.
