I don't think there will be widespread riots based on who wins the election.

I do believe the probability of an assassination attempt in the next 4 years is high with either candidate. Die hard supporters for Clinton or Trump are a bit extreme IMO.

I made the same statement to my DW last month. No shortage of hate for the candidates.

The video with this story was fun to watch. I love hosts that don't put up with BS from their guests. And yes, she takes the same approach when Trump supporters are on.

As if this election couldn't get any more bizarre...

New FBI investigation into Hillary's emails.

I still question how much difference it makes at this point. Many people have already cast their ballots and others who haven't yet have pretty much have their minds made up.

I think it makes very little difference. It's all just static. It gives the 24-hour news networks something to talk about to try and justify their existence when they don't have a major storm or other natural disaster to focus on.

According to one of the pollsters, the two Presidential candidates have 'sucked the air out of the election.' Very little of local elections are getting attention from voters. He went on to explain people who identify themselves as Republican, don't identify Trump as a Republican.

One of the points made was that 11% of those polled [mid October] indicated they were voting for a specific candidate to block the other from becoming President.

I don't know if SA participants watch Fareed Zakaria. He gave time to International spokesperson to comment on the two Presidential candidates and how they are viewed by the international community.

Here's what he said about Trump....

He thinks rather highly of Clinton, though he also stated that she lacks the kind of Charisma that her husband has.

I suspect the Pro-Trump camp would say that he is biased. I suspect that the Pro-Clinton camp would take it with delight.

I saw this thread yesterday and purposely avoided it because this is not a topic I really do not enjoy. But I saw the following ad today when I clicked on CNN and I LMAO.

Hoping others find the humor in it and are not offended.

If I were Donald Trump, this would have been part of my campaign. My billboard would read "Vote for me and you are rid of Al Sharpton!"

FBI clears Clinton and stocks jump 2%. I can't imagine what kind of crash we will see if Trump's Brexit + + happens. No idea why he always bring up Brexit since it pretty much tanked Britain's economy for the short term at least.

Just looking at which candidate wall street favors, a Trump win may tank the economy in the short term..perhaps causing high unemployment rate, especially for uneducated white folks.

So a Trump win for me is not a terrible thing...it'll teach the uneducated white folks a good lesson and it's what they deserve. It's what you get for being too lazy to educate yourself and want to get a job just by voting out the harder working people...immigrants. News Flash. Immigrants are not going away and you will be out of a job or can't find one because you like to blame others for your sorry ass deficiencies.

I may not agree with Trump, but I can't stand Trump's base. What a bunch of cry babies..way worst than the democratic "freeloaders" they swore to hate.

Just for fun, since Trump is really hammering this point....

Election Rigging is entirely possible. I just saw it happen on an episode of Scorpion tonight.

I don't get why we need the electoral college. Because it makes it "fair" to smaller states. Except I've never lived anywhere that my vote matters. I think it entirely unfair that basically only people in OH, FL, PA, VA, matter. That's all the campaigning and that's where the candidates go because they are "swing states". Why does it come down to only a few million people who get to decide?

Why isn't every vote equally weighed?

                              State populations:
                              New York 19.75 million
                              California 38.8 million
                              Florida 19.89 million
                              Pennsylvania 12.79 million
                              Ohio 11.59 million

                              Nebraska 1.88 million
                              Maine 1.33 million
                              Wyoming 584,000
                              Alaska 736,000

The candidates go to where the voters are. Why spend time and money campaigning in Wyoming when even if every single resident voted for you, it would barely be a blip in the election results?

By my current napkin calculations... Trump is actually winning. I don't think Clinton will get enough electorals.... Wow. I am in so much shock right now.
