Is Walmart Open on Thanksgiving Day 2025?
No. All Walmart Supercenters and grocery stores will be closed on Thursday, November 27, 2025. Although the retailer was once open on Thanksgiving, that changed in 2020 during the pandemic, and they haven’t gone back to those early Black Friday shopping hours.
That said, Walmart.com remains open 24/7, and shoppers can browse and purchase items. However, order processing and deliveries will not occur until after Thanksgiving.
Walmart Black Friday Sale 2025
Walmart’s Black Friday sale begins Monday, November 24, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. ET online. If you want to shop in-store, doors open Friday, November 28, 2025, at 6:00 a.m. local time.
Shoppers can expect discounts on TVs, gaming consoles, appliances, and other holiday favorites. Some online-only specials will also be available.
