Is Target Open on Labor Day 2020?

September 2, 2020 by Amanda Blankenship

Target open on Labor Day
Labor Day is all about beaches, BBQs, and buying things. The upcoming Labor Day weekend will be no different. Many people will be flooding the stores on their day off to score great deals. Some people may be wondering, “Is Target open on Labor Day?”

Is Target Open on Labor Day?

Yes. Target will be open on Labor Day. This doesn’t come as a surprise. Because Labor Day has become such a huge shopping holiday, Target will be capitalizing on people having the day off too.

You’ll even be able to score some great deals at Target Labor Day weekend including back-to-school supplies, cookout items, and camping supplies.

Target Labor Day Deals

The biggest deals you’ll find at Target this Labor Day are on college dorm supplies. You’ll find great prices on futons, desks, and other accessories for your home away from home. You’ll also be able to score great deals on mini-fridges, coffee pots, and various kitchen items.

Individuals looking for discounted camping gear can find that at Target Labor Day weekend as well. You can get up to 30% off the regular pricing for tents, air mattresses, and sleeping bags. Depending on your location, your local Target may have specific deals available. For instance, in Atlanta, they are selling marked down Atlanta Falcons gear. If you’re looking for something specific, check your local ad for details.

You can save even more by using your Target REDcard debit or credit card. Using the card will give you an additional 5% off your entire purchase.

What is Target’s Holiday Schedule?

The popular retailer is open most holidays throughout the year. The only days you’ll find its doors closed are Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day. Some holidays may impact Target’s regular store hours. For instance, on Black Friday, the store opens two hours earlier than normal.

That isn’t that case with Labor Day though. Target will hold its regular store hours (generally 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.). The store’s photo center will hold the same hours. You’ll also be able to get service at Target pharmacy (9 a.m. to 9 p.m.).

Regardless of what you are shopping for over your three-day weekend, you won’t have any issues. All 1,822 locations will be open and ready for shoppers to take advantage of their great deals.

Readers, will you be heading to Target on Labor Day?
