The Best Ways To Get Garlic Breath from Amazon

April 19, 2018 by Jackie Cohen

Get garlic breath because National Garlic Day is today.Garlic breath may keep both lovers and vampires at a distance but the spice can lower your cholesterol — and is so effective at it people buy more of it than any type of herb that promises these benefits.

It also lowers blood pressure, reduces your chances of getting heart disease or dementia, and even has some medicinal effects. The spice contains antioxidants along with plenty of manganese, vitamin B6 and C, and selenium.

And did you know there’s actually a national holiday for garlic – and that it’s today? In honor of that, here are some of the yummiest garlic items available on Amazon.

Garlic and Herb Rub Prime Rib Roast

The entrees that Amazon sells includes this juicy prime rib roast from Kansas City Steak Company. Rubbed with garlic and herbs, the beef is aged up to 28 days, boneless and tender. The package comes with cooking instructions that are easy to follow. The roast s big enough to serve eight to 10 people, and that explains why a a five-pound box of the steaks cost $94.95 plus $12.95 shipping.

Garlic Smoked Kielbasa

Sam’s Butcher Shop sells this artisan small batch meat via Amazon, but limits sales to certain parts of the U.S. That said, the classic style of Polish sausage is shipped in temperature-controlled containers to keep the meat fresh. A five-pound container costs $65 plus $15 shipping.

Garlic Lovers’ Dream Beef Jerky

Boasting 40 different awards for various products, Katie’s Premium Jerky & Snacks’ garlic jerky comes in a 2.4-ounce bag costs just $8.99 with an Amazon Prime membership. And if you buy a bundle of three you get a free sample of other jerky flavors — there are more than 30 of them, including beef, bison, elk, venison, and even pineapple.

Garlic Parmesan Pretzel Crisps

This Snack Factory flavor of pretzel gets some of the highest ratings of any garlic-flavored snack on Amazon. You can get a single bag of it for $7.99 if you order it through Amazon Prime Fresh, or the other option is a 24-pack for $28.85 via Subscribe and Save or $30.37 for a one-time purchase with Amazon Prime.

Toasted Onion and Garlic Pumpkin Seed Kernels

Apparently, this garlic-flavored snack was featured on Dr. Oz as a healthy snack. Part of the GERBS line of products, it’s packed with fiber and omega fats, while free of gluten and cholesterol while low in carbohydrates. A two-pound bag costs $16.99 with Amazon Prime.

Stonewall Kitchen Roasted Garlic Aioli

This healthy substitute for mayonnaise makes a tasty dip for French fries or fresh vegetables. Spread it on a sandwich or use it the next time you make egg salad. Highly rated by other Amazon customers, this condiment comes in a 10.25 ounce jar for just $9.95 with Amazon Prime.

Bacon Red Chile Garlic Jam

Only one thing’s better than garlic and that’s garlic-flavored bacon. Now you can spread that flavor on just about anything with this bacon-flavored jam infused with garlic and red chillies. It’s actually part of a gift set that includes two other flavors, original bacon and black pepper bacon. Pay just $30.99 for it if you have Amazon Prime.

Zombie Cajun Garlic Hot Sauce

If you like your garlic served hot, you might love this flavor of Zombie Cajun sauce. This Louisiana-style hot sauce is made with aged cayenne peppers and promises a balance of flavor and heat — it won’t overpower your dish but instead just gives it a little heat. A six-ounce bottle costs just $7.49 with an Amazon Prime membership.

Roasted Garlic Fettuccine

The maker of this pasta, Al Dente, calls its line of low-carbohydrate pasta Carba-Nada. Each serving has 17 grams of carbs, 170 calories and 15 grams of protein. Al Dente also claims that staff roll the roasted garlic fettuccine by hand — not a machine — which may explain why a 10-ounce bag costs $10.14 with Amazon Prime.

The Complete Book of Garlic

After reading about garlic as an ingredient in so many savory items, it’s about time we include a book on cultivating the spice and cooking with it too. Interestingly, this book by Ted Jordan Meredith only comes in a hardcover version — no Kindle nor paperback — but since it has the highest average customer review in its category it might be worth the $30.99 pricetag.

How To Get Rid of Garlic Breath

If you keep company with someone who doesn’t appreciate garlic breath, there are ways to get rid of it. Scientists have discovered — make that proven — that garlic breath goes away if you chase it with any of the following:

  • Raw apples
  • Mint leaves
  • Lemon juice
  • Lettuce
  • Green tea

Regardless of whether you consume a breath-freshening chaser following any garlicky dish, the spice is tasty and nutritious.
