- New Year’s Eve
While the 24-hour brick-and-mortar sites will remain open with normal hours for Thanksgiving Day, the non-24 hour locations will have pharmacy services from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Some of the locations open 24/7 will also have around-the-clock pharmacy hours as well. Several chains will also plan to have store hours from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., as they would normally, on Thanksgiving.
Walgreens will operate under normal business hours on Black Friday, reopening their doors to customers at 8 a.m. and closing at 10 p.m. Pharmacy hours are expected to stay the same at most locations from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Online options:
As long as you do not need prescriptions filled, Walgreens does have online shopping options as well. If you know you won’t be able to stop in when they are open before and after the upcoming holidays, you can plan ahead and order from their online store any time. For those of you who are die hard Walgreens fans and refuse to shop elsewhere for quick over-the-counter needs and the like, this is perfect for you.
Of course, Walgreens holiday hours and schedule does depend upon location. To find out the schedule for a Walgreens near you, use their store locator on Walgreens.com or call them at 1-800-WALGREENS.
