How to Win Albertsons Monopoly 2017

February 14, 2017 by Amanda Blankenship

How to Win Albertsons Monopoly
Everyone has heard the saying, “you have to play to win.” Usually, this saying is referring to the lottery or the Powerball. However, for the next few months when you hear that phrase it may be referring to Albertsons Monopoly contest. It is a bit different from playing the lottery though.

There is no purchase necessary to enter the Albertsons Monopoly contest. Of course, if you want a really great chance at winning, you will have to shop at Albertsons-owned grocery stores and collect pieces as you shop. However, you are also able to enter through the United States Postal Service.

You can receive one game ticket and one bonus game ticket for a total of two by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to MONOPOLY MON-09 Collect and Win Game Ticket Request, Attn: Promotions Coordinator, P.O. Box 965068, Marietta, GA 30066. These should be handwritten addresses on the envelope and they can also be post marked no earlier than February 8. Of course, they must also be received before the contest is over (May 9).

The Odds of Winning the Albertsons Monopoly Game

The other way to enter the contest is to simply shop for your everyday groceries, etc. at an Albertsons-owned store. Albertsons®, Safeway®, Pavilions®, Carrs®, Vons®, Randalls®, Eagle®, Pak ‘n Save®, Tom Thumb®, ACME Markets®, Jewel-Osco®, Shaw’s Supermarkets®, Star Markets®, United Supermarkets®, Market Street®, Amigos®, United Express®, Albertsons Market®, Lucky® (Southern California only) and Super Saver® stores (“Market Stores”) will all be participating in the Monopoly contest. When you shop, you will receive game pieces.

To play you open the game ticket by tearing off the perforated portions to reveal a special discount offer, online/sweepstakes coupon code; Instant Prize Grocery Gift Card; Instant Prize free product coupon. You may also reveal Free Game Tickets Prize coupons or four game markers which can be used on the game board. You will want to match certain pieces to win. You may also find two “rare” game pieces to win the grand prize of $1 million.

Other prizes include gift cards, smaller cash prizes, grocery vouchers, vacation homes, home makeovers, Redbox movie gift cards and many other awesome prizes.

If none of the top six prizes three $1 million cash prizes or three $1 million Vacation Home prizes are claimed, there will be a random second chance drawing from all valid sweepstakes entries for one $1 million Cash Prize. The potential winner will be contacted based on the information provided. If this information is not complete or the person does not respond within 14 days after email sent to email address provided or by certified mail for mail-in entries, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be drawn.

To claim your winnings (if you are one of the lucky few that win the Albertsons Monopoly game), you will enter a form online. If the prize is $200 or less, complete a low level prize form. If the prize is greater than $200, you will complete a high level prize form. Once you’ve completed the online form, you will receive an email verification and instructions on how to proceed with claiming your winnings. Be sure to check your spam folder or alter your spam filters when you go to claim your winnings.

Of course, the probability of winning a large prize is pretty low. However, as they say, you’ve got to play to win!
