        This could be a generational issue, not a left vs. right wing issue...millenials are often criticized as being entitled and unwilling to expend efforts to get results.

          Every generation has been criticized by the previous generations for being "entitled and unwilling to expend efforts to get results". That's been going on for decades. Today, it happens to be the "millennials" who are the focus. Twenty years from now it will be whatever that generation is called.
