$625 i bought a laptop. And we're going out for a nice dinner so another $100 for DH's b-day...it's his birthday da-da.

so far today we spent almost $30... $6 on grocery store loss leaders produce and $23 on car maintenence stuff... mostly additives to put in our engines to keep them running smooth and a tire repair kit to fix the flat we got yesterday...

today - $84 on groceries
yesterday - $35 on gas and $5.75 on wedding card and cough medicine

Forgot Saturday's mailed bills - $100 for contribution to MIL gifts, $106 for student loan, and $1300 payment against floors ($7250 paid off, $4250 left (interest free until Oct 07))

Offering money for yesterday, nothing for today. Saturday I spent $4.48 at McDonalds on the way home from basketball games my daughters cheered for. We each got a sandwich off the $1 menu and a water. I am so cheap, I keep a container of presweetened koolaid in the vehicle that I mix it so our free water turned to raspberry lemmonaide. We were planning on going home to eat, but the game ran over 90 minutes behind, and one wanted to go to the library, and we would have backtracked if we went home to eat then back to the library.

we had unexpected company last nite, my brother... he visited for 10 hours, played cards and my spouse worked on two of his computers... he did not want anything i had made, or offered to prepare for him to eat.. i ended up going to long john silver's at 9pm and getting fish, chips, cole slaw and hush puppies..... i spent $12... i ate left over veggie soup and homemade white bread with butter and a glass of milk, i made chocolate chip cookies to serve with the coffee and soda's... later i had chocolate ice cream.... does anyone else get company who will not eat what you offer??? he did give me $30 for my xmas and birthday gift...and was very pleasant company... he will be coming back over again later on this week...he is retired early and does alot of charity work, he is vice pres. of the amvets in the next town, and is a dj, as a side job...

Generally I just let em starve, or let em go get their own food...

but I am a big meanine, now for expected company I try to buy food to prepare that they will like. but for drop ins..you just never know....

Another point to remember is that if you feed them, they keep coming back. May not be a desirable effect if they drop in unannounced.
