Yesterday - $14.60 for groceries out of my grocery envelope.
Today - should be a no-spend day. Our babysitter just cancelled for tonight, saving us $15. My SIL agreed to watch the kids tonight for us instead! (and no, we do not pay her as we watch her child several days a week).
i waited to post our total for yesterday as we had a long day planned and didn't get home until a little later... plus i'm a few hours behind some of you because of our timezones... we spent quite a bit... $116.30 total... Gas (11) , groceries (57.25) and garage sales (48.05)...
of course, aout $20 of that garage sale booty was for christmas gift giving, and the rest was mostly practical stuff and misc stuff...
Probably about $3 in gas for to and from church. Lunch was basically free--leftovers from earlier in the week. What we don't eat today gets frozen into "TV dinners" for lunches. Might spend a $1.25 tonight on the way back home from evening services (Christmas program practice) as I forgot to pick up a paper on the way home (for coupons)
I'm happy with that, because I walked to the plaza today (to mail a letter) and browsed around in a lot of stores...the most tempting of which was BlockBuster which had a lot of cheap previously-viewed movies. But movies aren't something I need so I kept my wallet closed!
