Veterans and active-duty military members have made huge sacrifices to keep our country safe. The least we can do is honor them with deals and freebies on Veterans Day, which falls on Tuesday, November 11, 2025. Here are some of the best verified Veterans Day freebies and discounts available this year.

Veterans Day Freebies at Restaurants

Many restaurants are offering free meals or menu items to veterans and active-duty military. Most deals require proof of service and are dine-in only unless noted otherwise.

  • Another Broken Egg Cafe – Free Patriot French Toast Combo and coffee at participating locations
  • Applebee’s – Free meal from a select menu for veterans and active-duty military, plus, you’ll get a $5 Bounce Back card for free to use on your next visit
  • Blaze Pizza – Free one-topping pizza
  • Benihana – Veterans and active-duty military personnel can get a complimentary entrée, valued up to $59
  • Bob Evans – Complimentary Bob Evans breakfast for vets and active-duty military
  • Bruegger’s Bagels – Get a free hot or iced coffee (any size)
  • Buffalo Wild Wings – Free 10-piece Boneless Wings and Fries
  • California Pizza Kitchen – Free entrée and drink from a select menu
  • Chili’s – Free meal from a special menu for dine-in guests
  • Dave & Buster’s – Free entrée up to $20 value and a $10 Power Card for gameplay at any location nationwide
  • Denny’s – Free Original Grand Slam breakfast from 5 a.m. to noon
  • Einstein Bros. Bagels – Get a free hot or iced coffee (any size)
  • Golden Corral – Free buffet and beverage from 4 p.m. to close
  • IHOP – Free Red, White & Blueberry Pancake Combo
  • Little Caesars – A complimentary Little Caesars Lunch Combo from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • McDonald’s – Locations in Indiana, southwest Michigan and southeast Illinois will offer free breakfast meals
  • Olive Garden – Free entrée from a special menu with soup or salad
  • Outback Steakhouse – Free Aussie 3-Course Meal on Nov. 10 and 11
  • Red Lobster – Free Shrimp & Chips meal
  • Red Robin – Free Red’s Big Tavern Burger and bottomless fries
  • Starbucks – Free 12 oz hot or iced brewed coffee for veterans, active-duty, and spouses
  • Texas Roadhouse – Get a voucher between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. for a free lunch (can be used through May 31, 2026)
  • TGIFridays – Get a complimentary meal at participating locations from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Wendy’s – Free breakfast combo for veterans and active-duty military
  • White Castle – Get a free individual free combo meal or breakfast combo

Retail Discounts for Veterans Day

Retailers are also showing appreciation with exclusive discounts for veterans and their families.

  • Target – 10% off for military personnel and families from Oct. 27–Nov. 11
  • Walgreens – 20% off eligible items Nov. 8–11 with myWalgreens membership
  • Great Clips – Free haircut or voucher for veterans and active-duty military
  • Tractor Supply Co. – Receive a 10% discount on Veterans Day
  • Sleep Number – Get an additional 10% off their entire purchase

Please note, it is always a good idea to call ahead to confirm participation at your local location. Offers may vary by region and are subject to change. Proof of service (military ID, DD-214, etc.) is typically required.
