Are Banks Open on Father’s Day 2025?
Unfortunately, most banks won’t be open on Father’s Day because financial institutions are usually closed on Sundays. Father’s Day isn’t a federal/bank holiday, so banks don’t observe it specifically. However, since Father’s Day falls on a Sunday when banks are typically closed, you probably won’t be able to visit your local bank or credit union on June 16.
There are some exceptions, though. Bank branches inside supermarkets may operate on Sundays on a limited schedule. These locations are typically open for a few hours in the morning or early afternoon, so you’ll need to do your banking early.
