Walmart, the largest retailer in the United States, is a store that many people worry about. However, have no fear because Walmart closes only one day a year. The store which many people rely on to get their groceries and other household items is only closed on Christmas Day. Store hours can vary on some holidays though. Walmart will be open on Presidents Day. According to Walmart’s holiday schedule, Christmas is the only holiday in which Walmart closes its doors entirely. So, if you need anything from the retail giant on Monday, you will be able to get it.

Are Other Services Available?
Most Walmart stores have other retailers and services within them. Common storefront include banks, hair salons, nail salons, opticians and income tax preparation services inside the store. Those service providers are independent of Walmart and do not follow the same operating hours as Walmart stores. Check with your local store to see if those service providers will be closed on Presidents’ Day.
What Days is Walmart Closed?
Walmart only closes on Christmas each year. On Thanksgiving, some Walmart locations close their doors and reopen in the evening for early Black Friday sales. These are the only two days that Walmart has an altered schedule.
When Will Walmart Stores be Open?
Since Walmart will not be closed on Monday, February 20 in observance of Presidents’ Day, none of the days around it will be affected by the holiday either. They will be open the following hours:

Walmart does have a sale on most federal holidays. Presidents’ Day is a time of year where many mattresses go on sale as well as other household needs. There may also be other sales on Valentine’s Day merchandise. Of course, be sure to check your weekly flyer for deals closer to you.
Will Walmart.com be Available?
Walmart.com will be fully operational on Presidents’ Day. In fact, Walmart.com is operational every day, but sometimes delivery around holidays can be delayed. Because of this, you will want to plan for post offices to be closed on Monday, February 20.
