Is Walmart Open on Veterans Day 2018?

November 9, 2017 by Alexa Mason

Walmart Open on Veterans Day
When it comes to federal holidays, it’s hard to remember which stores are open and which are closed. Even if you’re on top of everything else for the holiday, it’s easy to lose track of store hours and schedules. Veterans Day is right around the corner, and you may catch yourself wondering if certain stores are open, especially Walmart.

According to the Walmart holiday schedule, there’s only a single day each year when Walmart stores are closed, and that’s on Christmas. So, even though it is also a Sunday, on Nov. 11, the one-stop-shop store will have its doors wide open for any customers that come. This year, Veterans Day we will officially recognize the holiday on Monday, November 12, and Walmart will be open on that day as well.

Veterans Day can be a great holiday for deals. If you’re planning to scout out the holiday’s discounts, you want to make sure the stores are open.

Is Walmart open on November 10?

Walmart is open, or “Veterans Day Eve.” The company does not generally close for anything except Christmas each year. However, at times it is difficult to figure out whether a retailer will be open or not. Veterans Day is not a federal holiday many stores close for.

Is Walmart open on Veterans Day?

Yes. Walmart is open on Veterans Day. Nov. 11, noted as the annual day we recognize our United States veterans, is a day some private businesses are closed. The Post Office closes its doors and even most government offices are closed. However, the retail giant Walmart will be open.

In addition to being open, Walmart is running some awesome deals. Deals and discounts for the Veterans Day holiday will vary from location-to-location. If you head to Walmart later this week be on the lookout for great deals on various items throughout the store on Friday.

Will Walmart be open Nov. 12?

Yes. Walmart will be open the day before and on the day after Veterans Day. While there will be some places closed, Walmart will be open for any needs that you have. Whether it be buying little American flags or your regular grocery list, Walmart’s doors will be open.

Walmart will be open, along with many other retailers,  and some will even have special deals for the holiday. Walmart itself is not holding any special deals for the holiday, but many other retailers are.

If there is a smaller store or another retailer you’ve been wondering about, be sure to check the store’s location or call about their Veterans Day hours. If there is something you’ve been thinking about buying, make sure you ask about any deals surrounding the holiday as well.
