In recent years, you no longer have to be a Hollywood actor to be considered a star. In fact, you don’t even need to dive into the world of reality television. All you need is the internet and a YouTube channel. Joey Graceffa is one of those stars who won the hearts of viewers through his comedy. At the age of 24, he has made a career of making videos online. But, can it last forever? What is Joey Graceffa’s net worth?

About Joey Graceffa

Born in Marlborough, Massachusettes on May 16, 1991, Graceffa began uploading videos to YouTube when he was just 16 years old with his friend Brittney from high school. The channel, called WinterSpringPro, featured a series of comedic clips from the duo, including parodies of music videos and TV shows. The show had around 20,000 fans and generated anywhere from $400 to $800 per month for the friends. By the time he graduated from high school in 2009, he created his own channel titled simply JoeyGraceffa.

He went on to study film at Fitchburg State College but left after only one year, according to his biography. Instead, he continued to vlog (video blog) full-time. In 2013, he joined the StyleHaul multi-channel network, which focused on fashion and lifestyle.

As of today, his channel has more than eight million subscribers and roughly 1.4 billion views, while on a second channel he also runs for his gaming, he has more than 2 million subscribers and over 400 million views.

In 2013, he competed on The Amazing Race 22 with fellow YouTube star Meghan Camarena but was eliminated in the tenth round. He returned to compete in The Amazing Race: All Stars.

His career has continued to flourish over the years as he continued to work on online projects such as starring in his own web series called Storytellers and a short film title Eon in 2014. In that same year, he was nominated for two awards at the Teen Choice Awards and won “Best Male Actor in a Dramatic Web Series” for Storytellers at the Streamy Awards.

Graceffa’s Career

In addition to his acting in various web series, both in his own works along with starring in episodes from other YouTube stars, and independent short films, he released a song accompanied by a music video in 2015 titled “Don’t Wait” that had more than 24 million views and was positively received, for the most part.

Graceffa released his memoir, In Real Life: My Journey to a Pixelated World, in May 2015, which was published by Keyword Press. It went on to become a New York Times Best Seller on the celebrities list in July of that same year. He also co-wrote a young adult graphic novel titled Children of Eden, published by the same company, which was received with praise as well.

In June 2016, he released a crystal-based jewelry line known as “Crystal Wolf.”

Joey Graceffa’s Net Worth

As it stands, Joey Graceffa’s net worth is an estimated $3 million, according to The Fact Files. He has been able to accumulate such wealth from his work above along with advertisements that show on his YouTube channels.

In order to be a successful YouTuber, you do need to put in the work. Graceffa uploads approximately one video per day and regularly keeps up with his social media channels as well.
