Andy Stanley’s Net Worth

July 13, 2017 by James Hendrickson

Megachurches, like Elevation, have been rising in popularity in recent years. What many people have been realizing, though, is that the pastor’s net worth is rising as well. Many pastors of megachurches are estimated to be worth millions of dollars, which has led to debate. Should pastors be able to accrue millions of dollars through serving God?

Now, no situation is the same. Some pastors may use church funds to line their own pockets, but what about North Point Community Church’s Andy Stanley? What is his net worth and how much of his cash has come from the church?

Andy Stanley’s Profile:

Net worth in 2017: $3 million
Profession: Pastor
Age: 59
Source Of Wealth: Pastoral career
Residence: Milton, Ga.
Citizenship: U.S. Citizen
Marital Status: Married; Sandra Stanley
Education: Georgia State University

About Andy Stanley

Andy Stanley was born on May 16, 1958 in Atlanta, Georgia. He grew up in Georgia and went on to Georgia State University, where he studied journalism. After graduating from GSU, he went on to earn a master’s degree from Dallas Theological Seminary.

Stanley served as Associate Pastor and Minister to Students at First Baptist Atlanta. After holding that position for several years, he and five others founded North Point Community Church. That was 22 years ago. It is now one of the largest churches in the United States. North Point Ministries now has six campuses with over 32,000 attendees each week. And it is all thanks to Stanley, who was named the 10th most influential living preacher in the U.S. in 2010.

Of course this huge, successful church has a lot to do with Stanley’s own personal success. The 59-year-old pastor has a few other irons in the fire as well. Many people also know Stanley as a prolific author. He’s published numerous books including “Fields of Gold,” “The Seven Checkpoints: Student Journal,” “The New Rules For Love, Sex & Dating” and “When Work & Family Collide.”

He has also spoke at Presidential inaugurations and has provided services at churches and events throughout the U.S. for years. So, what is Andy Stanley’s net worth?

Andy Stanley’s Net Worth

Andy Stanley's net worth Andy Stanley’s net worth is estimated to be anywhere from $3 million to $40 million (which is nothing compared to Megachurch leaders like Joel Osteen). Stanley’s overall success, like other megachurch leaders, has stemmed from his ability to communicate with others effectively.

His estimated net worth is greatly due to the success of his church and Stanley’s further ability to communicate through writing. As previously mentioned, Stanley has published numerous books, all of which have done wonderfully. People just love what he has to say. He also has shows such as “Starting Over With Andy Stanley” and “Your Move With Andy Stanley,” which have earned him a bit of cash.

But let’s not skip over the big money maker here: North Point Community Church. Although the church is “non-profit,” Stanley (and just about every other pastor out there) earns a living from their church. It is their livelihood… Not everyone cashes in millions though.

Either way, North Point Community Church is continuing to grow every year and it is likely that Andy Stanley’s net worth will grow along with it.
