Wonder Woman Gal Gadot’s Net Worth

June 6, 2017 by James Hendrickson

Gal Gadot's net worth

“Wonder Woman” hit theaters over the weekend and made an astronomical amount of money. The film, based on the DC comic books featuring the heroine, grossed $223 million worldwide during its first weekend and is continuing to make more money every day.

The star of “Wonder Woman” landed the job after only having played small roles in other films and modeling. What will the success of “Wonder Woman” mean for the movie’s star, Gal Gadot, and her overall net worth?

Gal Gadot’s Profile:

Net worth in 2017: $10 million
Profession: Actress, Model
Age: 32
Source Of Wealth: Acting and modeling career
Residence: Israel
Citizenship: Israeli
Marital Status: Married; Yaron Varsano
Education: No formal education

Gal Gadot’s Career

Gal Gadot was born on April 30, 1985 in Rosh HaAyin, Israel. Her nationality is a huge part of who Gadot is and how she conducts herself. She grew up in Israel and even enlisted in the Israeli armed forces at the age of 20 so that she could better serve her country.

Two years prior to her two-year service in the Israeli Defense Forces she was named Miss Israel and after her service she went on to study law. It is no secret that she didn’t stick with her law degree though. Instead Gadot was steered in the direction of acting.

During her time in the Israeli army, Gadot was asked to be a part of a “Maxim” photoshoot highlighting the women soldiers of the Israeli armed forces. After seeing her in “Maxim” she landed the cover of the “New York Post.”

In 2009 Gadot was approached to audition for her first major film role. She was asked to audition for the role of Bond girl Camille Montes in the film “Quantum Solace.” She did not get that role, however, the casting director did cast her in her role in “Fast & Furious” soon after. She took on the role of Giselle in the film series and performed all of her own stunts.

Gadot has also played smaller parts in various other films, both in the U.S. and Israel. Her latest large role as Wonder Woman will be what effects Gal Gadot’s net worth the most.

Gal Gadot’s Net Worth

Gal Gadot's net worthShe first appeared as Wonder Woman in “Batman vs. Superman” in 2016. Now she has also starred in the film “Wonder Woman” and will continue playing the part of the heroine in “Wonder Woman” films to come and the upcoming “Justice League” movie (schedule for a November 17, 2017 release). Currently Gal Gadot’s net worth sits at about $10 million.

The bulk of Gal Gadot’s net worth has stemmed from her role in the “Fast & Furious” films as well as her more newly acquired role as “Wonder Woman.” It doesn’t hurt that her husband is a successful businessman either.

Her hubby, Yaron Varsano, has made millions of dollars through various business deals. The couple has a five-year-old daughter together who Gadot frequently brings to movie sets. Gadot and her husband’s solid financial foundation allows the couple to live stress free with their daughter.

Gadot’s net worth won’t likely stay at $10 million very long though, especially with her role as Wonder Woman. Gadot will be able to keep the benefits of being visually recognizable as a hero for many people. While she seemingly came out of nowhere, she is doing really well for herself. As her popularity grows (and she continues making “Wonder Woman” films) Gal Gadot’s net worth will continue to rise as well.
