Places where kids eat free
If you’re a parent there are never enough ways for you to save money. Moms and dads spend a lot of time trying to trim the budget here and there to better provide for their families. Most of the time when it comes to cutting down the budget food and groceries are among the first to go. Parents will likely try to cut down on the amount they eat out or trim their grocery budget. There may be a way you can save without much effort though.

There are a number of places where kids eat free (and free is always budget friendly). Below is a list of great places with free kid’s meals.

Places Where Kids Eat Free

Finding a place where your child can eat for free is a lot easier than you’d think, especially if your kid is still under 12 years old (12+ don’t qualify for free meals in most establishments). If you’re wondering which restaurants offer this perk, here are 20 places where kids eat free:

  1. Applebee’s: Keep an eye out at your local Applebee’s for their “kids eat free” day during the week (day will vary location to location).
  2. Bob Evans: On Tuesdays after 4 p.m. kids eat free at Bob Evans.
  3. Captain D’s: Kids eat free on Thursdays at Captain D’s (limit two children per paying adult).
  4. Chick-fil-a: If you purchase an adult combo meal you get a free kid’s meal on Tuesdays from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. *Call your local Chick-fil-a to confirm.*
  5. Ci-Ci’s Pizza: If your child is under the age of three they eat free at Ci-Ci’s every day of the week.
  6. Denny’s: From 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Tuesdays kids eat free at Denny’s (limit two children per paying adult).
  7. Firehouse Subs: Firehouse offers free kid’s meals on Wednesdays with a purchase of an adult meal.
  8. Fudruckers: Every Monday from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. kids eat free at Fudruckers.
  9. Hooters: Kids eat free from 11 a.m. until 11 p.m. on Sundays at Hooters.
  10. IHOP: IHOP offers free kid’s meals with a purchase of an adult meal quite often. Keep an eye out for promotions like this in your area.
  11. Lone Star Steakhouse: Kids eat free all day Tuesday (limit two children per paying adult).
  12. Maggiano’s Little Italy: On Saturday kids under 5 eat for free.

  14. Perkins: Perkins offers a free kid’s meals with the purchase of an adult entree.
  15. Pizza Hut: Tuesday is the day when kids can eat free at Pizza Hut (all day long).
  16. Qdoba: Qdoba offers free kid’s meals on Sundays and Wednesdays.
  17. Red Robin: If you’re child is under 10 they can eat for free at Red Robin on Mondays.
  18. Salsarita’s: On Thursdays Salsarita’s offers its patrons a free kid’s meal with the purchase of an adult meal.
  19. Shoney’s: All day Friday kids eat free at Shoney’s.
  20. Steak ‘n Shake: If you purchase a $9 adult entree you can get a free kid’s meal on Sundays.

Places Kids Eat Almost Free

In addition to the restaurants that offer kiddies free meals there are also a number of places that offer almost free meals for kids. Here are just a few:

  1. Buffalo Wild Wings: From 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Mondays the kid’s meal is only $0.99.
  2. McAlister’s Deli: Select locations offer a $0.99 kid’s meal menu every day.
  3. WhichWich: Purchase a 7″ sandwich and get your kid’s sandwich for $0.99 on Mondays and Saturdays.

These are only just a few of the places where kids eat free (or almost free) near you. Many local restaurants and smaller chains have free kid’s meals on certain days or after certain times. If you are wondering about a specific restaurant, give them a call to confirm. You can also view even more places where kids eat free here.
