Ewan McGregor’s Career

Ewan McGregor was born in Perth, Scotland on March 31, 1971. He went to an academy where his father taught as a young boy in Scotland, however, it wasn’t until he left school at the age of 16 that he got his start in theatre.

At 16 McGregor worked as a stagehand at Perth Repertory Theatre. During his time as a stagehand he studied a foundation course at Kirkcaldy College of Technology and two years later he moved to London to begin studying drama at Guildhall School of Music & Drama.

Six months before he graduated Guildhall McGregor landed his first role in a television series called “Lipstick on Your Collar.” And, just six years later, in 1999 McGregor scored what would be one of the biggest roles of his career.

McGregor played the role of Obi-Wan Kenobi¬†in “Star Wars” episodes one, two and three. Once the trilogy of films were over McGregor went on to play smaller roles in films, acting alongside big names like Johnny Depp and Emma Watson.

The “Star Wars” hero has seen a lot of success through his role in the cultish science fiction films but where else has he earned cash? What is Ewan McGregor’s net worth?

Additionally McGregor has earned a decent amount of money from endorsements with Davidoff Adventure cologne and Belstaff apparel. However, he has not gained a ton of money from endorsements.
