Beers like bottled Bud Light seem to be a bit cheaper but what if you want to have a cocktail out with your friends or do a few shots? How do you save money at the bar? Better yet – how do you get can back on alcohol?
How to Save Money on Alcohol
Saving money on alcohol for your night out can be difficult. Not many clubs are offering discounts on their drinks. After all, that is where they make the bulk of their money.
Some clubs and bars will have special drinks though. Generally, the bar will have a drink special for the day of the week. For instance, a local bar may have half off wine on Wednesday or marked down cocktails for “Thirsty Thursday.” These drink deals are also usually partnered with some type of food deal as well.
Any way you look at it buying alcohol at the bar can get pricey and there’s been no real way to save cash at the bar until recently. Now there is a way to get cashback on alcohol.
How to Get Cash Back on Alcohol

The BevRAGE app has made it possible to get cash back on alcohol you purchase from local bars and your local ABC. All you have to do is open the app, see the deals and click “redeem.” Then you snap a photo of your receipt and cash is deposited into your PayPal account within 48 hours.
Sounds great, right? Here are a few more details about how the app works:
The BevRAGE App
BevRAGE offers you deals at the liquor store and local bars. Before you go out to stock up for a party or for a night out, it would be smart to download the app and see what deals are going on.
For example, when you open the app you may see deals like $6 off a 1.75 L bottle of Ciroc vodka or $3 off a handle of Captain Morgan’s rum. You will also see deals on specific drinks (like a Stoli cocktail) and days (like Thirsty Thursday). BevRAGE will offer you $2 off any cocktail on Thursdays or cash back on your wine purchase on Wednesday.
You can redeem these deals anywhere. It is not restricted by location. However, you will need to be 21 to redeem the cash back.
Also, there are a number states that do not yet cater to the BevRAGE app: Alabama, Arkansas, Hawaii, Indiana, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas and Utah. With savings like these, it won’t likely be long before these states have the access to the app as well.
What do you think? Will you use the app to save on alcohol?
