Cyber Monday: The Best Day to Utilize Those Email Coupons

November 28, 2016 by Amanda Blankenship

Everyone has a boat load of unused coupons sitting in their inbox right now. Retailers have begun asking customers for their email addresses to send newsletters and ads but they also send some great coupons. Cyber Monday is a great day to utilize them.

Cyber Monday Deals

Today is Cyber Monday, one of the largest shopping events of the year (next to Black Friday). In fact, it is predicted that Cyber Monday and online shopping events may eventually replace large-scale shopping days like Black Friday in the future.

Many traditional retailers like Target, Walmart and Best Buy have rolled out some great deals for Cyber Monday. The not-so-traditional retailers like Amazon and eBay have done the same. However, you could save even more money this Cyber Monday with coupons that are likely sitting in your email inbox right now.

Cyber Monday in Your Inbox

In addition to some of the more well-known deals out there I discovered a large amount of deals sitting in my inbox this morning as well. Over the past few years Cyber Monday has grown in popularity and has become (mostly) about snatching up great deals on technology items. However, there are a ton of more great deals to be had.

Fitness Cyber Monday Deals

If you’re a member at Bodybuilding.com or any other fitness-related website they probably have great deals available to you today. Better yet, if you’ve ordered items from the site in the past you may also be able to find a coupon code. Some sites will not allow you to combine their Cyber Monday deals with other coupon codes, however, some will and you will be able to save money off the already discounted price.

Don’t Forget the Candles on Cyber Monday

Another great deal that may have appeared in your inbox this morning was Yankee Candle. Yankee Candle has a Cyber Monday sale that offers 30 percent off every gift set the company is selling this season. Additionally, if you buy up to three large scented candles you will get the same number of candles free (a fantastic BOGO deal). Yankee Candle is also offering free shipping for every order over $50. You can print these coupons out and use them in-store today only. Also, if you frequent Yankee Candle, you may also have coupon codes stocked up and may be able to save even more!

Your Favorite Stores on Cyber Monday

All of your favorite stores are likely having a Cyber Monday sale. If you’ve given them your email address in-store or bought items from them online you probably have specially-made deals waiting (being ignored) in your inbox. For instance, some retailers (like Kohls) will send you emails catered to what you’ve purchased in the past. So if you’ve bought a watch at Kohls the store may send you special Cyber Monday deals for other watches or jewelry. Check your email for these “special” deals.

Old Coupons Can Be Used on Cyber Monday

If you are Cyber Monday shopping today be sure to check your email not only for those special deals but also for coupon codes from the last month or so. These coupon codes oftentimes sit in your inbox unused. Why not use them online shopping today? If you are able to get an additional percentage off the already-discounted price, you will save a ton of money Cyber Monday shopping this year!
