April Fool’s Day Deals, Sales and Freebies

April 1, 2016 by Alexa Mason

April Fool's Day Deals
April Fool’s Day doesn’t necessarily mean pranks all around (though there will be quite a few). It can mean great deals, however. Of course, there are daily deals at most retail and online retail stores and outlets, however, some of them offer Fool’s Day-specific deals. Most stores are taking advantage of the keyword search “April Fool’s Day” and offering deals for this day.

Usually, these freebies and deals aren’t normally anything fantastic, especially if they are specific to the holiday (like a whoopee cushion).

You can get all of the following deals on April Fool’s Day in honor of the day of pranks:

  • Bath & Body Works: Save 20 percent off your entire online order with code SP162168 until April 17.
  • Bon-Ton: During the entire month of April, use promo code APRBDAY and get free shipping on orders of $25 or more.
  • Efile.com: Get 50 percent off tax preparation services with code 16PROMO50.
  • Express: Save 15 percent off your online or in-store purchase.
  • Fab: Save 15 percent on orders of $100 or more with promo code 15off100 or 20 percent off orders of $200 or more with code 20off200. Offers end on April 1.
  • Footwear Unlimited: Use promo code FOOL to save $10 off your order and get free shipping from March 31 to April 4.
  • Foot Locker: Use promo code LKS16M3L up until April 1 and get 15 percent off any order of $70 or more.
  • Finish Line: Save $15 on order of $150 or more with the promo code available on the website. This deal will be offered all month long.
  • Fred Meyer Jewelers: Get 35 percent off and, if you’re a Platinum Preferred customer, enjoy an additional 10 percent off your purchase from April 1 to 7.
  • JCPenney: Get 10 to 15 percent off select items or salon services with promo code FUNDEAL until April 16.
  • Kohl’s: Save 15 percent on in-store purchases available from March 31 to April 3.

You can also get free iced coffee at participating Dunkin’ Donuts Stores. As well as the following deals:

  • Baskin Robbins: Buy One, Get 1 Free Any Scoop Or Swirl through April 2
  • BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse: Save $10 off a $35 purchase until April 6.
  • Burger King: Buy 1, Get 1 Free Whoppers valid through April 19, 2015
  • Buy 1, Get 2 Free Custom Cover Photo Books from York Photo Today
  • Free Apple iPad Mini Original Smart Covers + $5 Shipping
  • Free Sample DuraHook Coat Hook + Free Shipping
  • Longhorn Steakhouse: Save $1.50 on one adult lunch entree or $3 on two.

You can also get the following deals on Travel for April Fool’s:

  • Mad River Glen: You can receive a two-for-one ski deal by “acting a fool” at the ticket booth at Mad River Glen on April Fool’s Day (April 1)
  • Waterville Valley Resort: You can ski and ride for $1 on April Fool’s Day. Tickets go on sale at 8:30 a.m. and the ski-and-ride begins at 9 a.m.
  • Wildcat Mountain Resort: Go to Wildcat Mountain on April Fools’ Day (April 1) and get an all-day lift ticket for $9.
  • University of Maryland: Get a free whoopee cushion by being one of the first 100 fans in the stadium on April Fool’s Day (April 1)

Take advantage of some of these deals, however, remembers that a deal isn’t really saving you money unless you planned on. Be smart about your spending!

You may also find these deals and more on GoBankingRates.com.
