Many people have been using their Costco memberships to their fullest this holiday season, and many people will need to go to the store for returns or other items the day after Christmas. However, some people may be wondering, is Costco open the day after Christmas?

Oftentimes offices, and some local stores, closed down for the entire Christmas weekend when Christmas falls on a Friday, so it makes what is open and what is closed the day after Christmas kind of confusing.

Costco is open on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, and it will also be open the day after Christmas as well. Although the Wholesale retailer closes its doors for the Christmas holiday, they will reopen on Saturday for regular business hours.

Note that on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, Costco closes its doors earlier than normal, which is important to know for any last-minute items you may need for the holiday. However, if there is anything you need to return or that you need for “every day life” after the holidays, the store will be open on Saturday. You may need to check with your local Costco to see what time they will be reopening after the holiday.

It’s important to note that the above holiday schedule and hours are general. There are exceptions to the rule, so it makes sense to verify with your local Costco if you have any questions. In addition, these are all planned closures for 2015. Other events, such as severe weather, may close a certain store during the year which aren’t listed above.
