Six Ways to Save Money at the Macaroni Grill

September 18, 2015 by Alexa Mason

six ways to save money at the macaroni grill

Since its launch nearly 20 years ago, Macaroni Grill has expanded to nearly every major American city. Regular customers love that the company bakes its own bread and serves its house Chianti in huge water glasses. The prices at the chain of restaurants are relatively affordable, but there are some tips you can use to save more on your restaurant visit. Here are six ways to save money at Macaroni Grill.

Order An Express Lunch Or Dinner

An easy way to save money at Macaroni Grill is to order a meal off of its express lunch or express dinner menu. These items generally have the lowest entrée prices on the menu and are ready in less than 10 minutes or the meal is free. The selection is limited, but there are enough choices that most people will be able to find something that they like.

Have A 3-Course Lunch For $10

These days, it is rare to be able to get a full meal for $10 unless you are going to a fast food restaurant. Macaroni Grill is bucking the trend by offering a 3-course lunch for $10 (plus tax). The meals offered under the promotion include an appetizer, a salad, and a choice of pasta dishes. The pricing is valid Monday through Thursday from 11am to 4pm.

Join The Macaroni Grill Mailing List

Joining the mailing list is another great way to save money at Macaroni Grill. When you sign up, you are given a coupon for $5 off your next purchase at the restaurant. The mailing list will also email you a coupon for a free dessert on your birthday and keep you up to date on the money saving promotions the company is offering.

Go On Thursdays For Half-Priced Wine

Many Macaroni Grill locations participate in the Mezzo Prezzo half-priced wine promotion on Thursdays. During this promotion, all bottles of wine ordered to accompany dine in meals will be billed at half the cost they regularly sell for. The offer is only valid at participating locations as permitted by applicable state and/or local law.

Take Advantage Of Buy One, Get One Offers

Exploring various buy one, get one offers will also help you save money at Macaroni Grill. These offers are typically for specific entrees during a specific time frame. Previous offers have included a free artisan pizza with the purchase of a family meal, a free lunch express meal with the purchase of another, and a buy one, get one free parmigiana plates.

Use Money Off Coupons

Another way to save at Macaroni Grill is to take advantage of the numerous money off coupons they offer. Most offers are $10 off a $30 or $40 purchase, an easy total to reach if you are dining with friends or family members. These money off coupons can be found in local newspapers in areas where Macaroni Grills are located, on Facebook, and online at many money saving websites. These coupons are for dine in visits only and some restrictions may apply.
