Is Walmart Open on Easter?
Walmart will be open on Easter. According to Walmart’s holiday schedule, stores are open on Easter as well. So, if you need anything from the retail giant on Sunday, rest assured you can still stop in and pick it up.
Are Other Walmart Services Available?
Most Walmart stores have a bank, hair salon, nail salon, optician, and income tax preparation services inside the store. Those service providers are independent of Walmart and do not follow the same operating hours as Walmart stores. Check with your local store to see if other service providers are open on Easter or any of the days surrounding Easter (Good Friday, Easter Saturday, Easter Monday).
Which Days Does Walmart Close?
Walmart only closes on Christmas each year. On Thanksgiving, some Walmart stores close their doors and reopen in the evening for early Black Friday sales. These are the only two days that Walmart has an altered schedule.

Walmart has a sale on most major holidays. Around Easter, Walmart usually puts Easter dinner supplies and food on sale. Most spring cleaning supplies are also on sale around this time. Of course, things like Easter candy, Easter baskets, and eggs are typically on sale for Easter as well. And, you can often get a great deal on these items after Easter Sunday. If you are wondering about specific sales for Easter at Walmart, be sure to check your weekly flyer or look online.
Will Walmart.com Be Available?
Because Walmart is still open for Easter, Walmart.com will also be fully operational. In fact, Walmart.com is operational every day, but delivery from the website around holidays, such as Christmas, may take a bit longer.
