  • No Way Around Putting In The Work

All - I'm posting a bit of a rant here.

I see all these guys on X posting about their massive returns and I'm like, dude...that doesn't happen overnight.

You need to go through an extended period of time investing energy into self education and skill acquisition before you can expect any kind of unaverage success.

So, the sooner people stop putting off the 1-3 years of trial and error the better.

most can't beat the market. It's really hard. I even speak for myself I can't beat the market. I can and have picked the right sectors and i buy very aggressive sector ETFs which has supercharged the returns.

One, it's social media. Don't let emotions be victimized.

Unaverage success is usually attributed to niche opportunity and extreme risk-taking more than it is skill.

I say the same thing about "hard work". Most hard work earns people more hard work. A lifetime of hard work, actually. The money typically does not follow until an opportunity for few presents itself.
      History will judge the complicit.

        I'm in complete agreement.

There is an entire industry centered around get rich quick schemes. There are a few out there that are decent, but the vast sum of them are complete scams or click bait nonsense.

Are there some few 20 somethings that have achieved extreme financial wealth on their own? I'm sure there may be, but they are not spending their time on Tick-Tok or Twitter.

Not that it doesn't happen overnight - likely doesn't happen at all.

Most of the financial advice I've seen on social media is complete garbage.

I'm sure we all (or at least most on this forum) have a handful of trusted voices as it relates to solid or even sage financial advice. The rest is just noise.
