What do you think the chances are of ING having another special promotion? If they do, wouldn't it better to have your money in some other online bank so that you could get the promo rate?

I don't see it happening for awhile. There are a lot of banks that are paying more, so it's probably better to choose one of them since it doesn't appear that ING is attempting to be the interest rate leader anymore.

Jesse, you're the reason why ING doesn't have to increase their rates. Since you keep $50 million on deposit with them, there's no incentive to raise.

That might also be a reason I don't switch. "Glorious to behold!" Though the orange is a bit much. Kind of like walking into Target and being bombarded with RED

I agree... the graphical user interface is to die for!!

Can we get some screen shots of the user interface from ED, HSBC, Citibank, GMAC, and ING (for those who don't have ING) in here?!??! It would be nice to compare and contrast.

My question to the ING fans, is it worth paying $10/month (on a $24,000 balance) just so you can be wowed by a user interface? Admittedly I've never used ING, but HSBC's and GMAC's interfaces are good and simple -- I'm not sure how ING's could be all that (and a bag of chips).

Do all of the other banks allow you to setup as many accounts as you like in about 30 seconds each? That's another reason I like ING (though admittedly, I haven't tried any of the others except presidential - who I wasn't particularly fond of by any stretch.

Amboy's interface is pretty ragged too; but how many of us put up with software interfaces that we would like to improve on?
