LOL. pyotr, really it's nothing personal. Some things can be argued to death and both people could be right. (Except in the case of VJW who is always wrong -- Just kidding!!)
This is something that just can't be argued though. The rules of math are the rules of math. I have been and will be wrong on a lot of things, but this isn't one of them.
Anyway, back on the original topic, I think this should be an eye opener for rate chasers. People chasing just a .25% yield (by going from 4% to 4.25% for example) can end up taking 64 days to catch up on their interest if they lose 4 days in the transfer. That's huge.
