What advice would you give yourself if you could go back?

If you could go back in time and talk to yourself as you were just finishing high school or college, what advice would you give yourself?

For me,
I would have advised to pick a different major in college. I am doing well, but I could have done better earlier on.
I would have started investing sooner than I did. I didn't get really serious till around 25, but I should have started at 21.
There are a few relationships and one marriage that I would have steered clear from.
Buying a few new cars over the years could have been avoided if I would have opted for used.

Not too much different, just some silly borrowing for cars, etc.
I think my life choices were pretty good. Have managed to stay married, raise good kids and set ourselves up pretty well financially.

I do kind of regret not doing a short stint in the military for the experience and discipline. First several years right out of HS were just pizzing around anyway.
Could have probably gained something from the military experience and it wasn't a time of war.

I think there was another similar thread not too long ago? I would have taken more risks than I already have. Don't know what you don't know in the moment sometimes until you look back from the future and see how much opportunity was sitting right there. Didn't have the knowledge/experience back then that I do now.

Life choices, I'm happy. Went to school, settled down, and I'm still glad I did. Probably would have chosen a different career, again, missed opportunity. But this one should get me to the finish line early.

Still glad my father told me not to join the military and that I listened. But I'm thankful for those who do join, and did.

I'd tell myself to be more deliberate to identify & prioritize the things/people/time/events/projects/etc. that are most important. Seek & accept help early & often. Financially ... "Buy heavy into Amazon, Apple, and Nvidia." otherwise, I'm generally pretty satisfied with most of my significant financial decisions in life.

spend more money. Don't bother saving so much. Enjoy it. I had no idea that compounding would work so insanely and we'd be rolling it in at the rate we are. I would tell younger me buy it. Don't sweat pennies
