Both charts are from CDC data and were published by The NY Times. It’s a paywall. But if you just go to CDC you’ll get the same data - they aren’t doing charts.

“Significant impact” is a purely editorial comment. That’s brainwashing.

The actual cases/deaths/hospitalizations are clearly telling otherwise.

We need to separate editorial from hard data.

The CDC chief says she’s “scared”. I respect that, but that’s a brainwashing, editorial-based comment with no basis in fact. We need to quit scaring people and look at hard data.

WE can surely determine when to be “scared”, stay home, wear two masks, etc.
