-No, but will be by the end of the year.
-I have no real time line as to how long I'll keep it, but I figure as long as I keep up on the maintenance it should go at least 200,000 miles. That works out to another 13 years or so.

4. Not for much longer. I think I can make it last for a few more years, but as it is, I'm already looking to replace it. While it can still manage to get me from point A to point B, it is starting to do so with some difficulty. Bits and pieces of it are falling apart as we speak. Overall, not bad for a Toyota Corolla.

Oldest two have been paid off since 2004 and 2006
Youngest car does have a payment. We put down half. We have had it two weeks.

No idea how long they will last. We just got rid of our 1996 Saturn station wagon because the repairs were going to be double the price of the car's worth. Going by that record, we have 6 years left on our VUE, 8 years left on our Sequoia, and 15-16 years left on our Camry.

We are hoping the VUE will last through our oldest son commuting to college. He is currently in 10th grade.

2006 vw Passat/96k miles/paid for/should be able to get 10 years from it
2004 vw Jetta tdi/102k miles/paid for/probably 5 years if it will go to 300k miles as a work vehicle

keep an eye on the cam on the TDI. 04-06 PD engines had cam wear issues that start at 120-150k. It's not that expensive to replace the cam with the better version once it starts to show itself prior to it letting loose inside the engine.

1. 2007 Honda Civic (6.5 years old?),

3. paid off,
4. with maintenance until it dies.

Vehicle 2
1. 2004 Toyota Sienna (9.5 years old?),
2. 169k miles bought used in 2013,
3. paid off,
4. with maintenance until it dies. We'll probably need to replace it in say 7-10 years.

4. How much longer do you think it will last? Planning to sell the civic when we relocate later this year. It needs major repairs and I was originally planning ot upgrade in December but with the move we will no longer need 2 vehicles. F150 will hopefully last another 10 years

Sorry the jetta is a 2002 non pump duese but the passat has a cam wear problem that I have to keep an eye on. The jetta has a solenoid issue in the transmission though and thats not going to be fun to replace.

Nope to both. Will be done 8/2015 if not sooner.

2006 sonata we bought we might trade it next year or two for a minivan. We bought it used and I consider us "renting" it for what we needed it for now. Transition to getting a minivan.

I used to think to only buy new. And I still like our new car and that'll last 15 years probably but I also like the flexiblity of used and trading it for perhaps what you need for a set amount of time. After all perhaps I won't need a minivan too many years.

4. Indefinitely. I drive it 500-600 miles a week. It gets 31 MPG, and cruises just fine. A bit of rust here and there that we need to take care of, but aside from routine maintenance, it's never had an issue.
