    Yep, exactly.

Wonder how many of these young kids are going to grow up hating white men

IMO these protests are a combination of paid professional protesters funded by Soros and other extreme factions of Democratic Party politics and younger unpaid millenials because they think they are being trendy. There are pictures of these protesters being bused into major cities from out of town. Advertisements on Craigslist. Very little of this is organic and its just designed to delegitimize the President Elect. Mr. Trump would be wise to just ignore these people and let GOP/conservative talking heads expose these frauds for what they are and keep his hands clean.

When I told my DH about the racist incident in Chicago, where a white man was beaten following a car accident, his first comment was "how did they know he was a Trump supporter?"

I haven't went out to look to see if the story has evolved enough to reveal that information, but my DH and I both wondered if he had a Trump bumper sticker. And if he did, was the accident a real accident or did they side swipe the car with the intent to beat this man?

If our assumptions are correct, then it is a prime example supporting our belief that using bumper stickers that label you is a bad idea. Not just political beliefs either. There are various things that get people heated, and showing where you stand with use of a bumper sticker just increases the chance of your vehicle (and perhaps family) become a target of someone else's hate.

I agree with you 100%. Easier said than done though since all of the major media outlets feed the frenzy.

Did you watch the entire interview? When asked if he have heard of these incidences, at first he said no..then when pushed he said just one or two with the attitude of dismissing it really quickly.

Remember how he wants to get corruption and money out of politics? How about lets add lets get racism out of politics? Not appointing anyone who is a known racist to work with you can be a start.

One of my first responses to you was in regards to your hate consuming you. I believe that comment was spot on.

I am sitting here watching the live Obama press conference this very minute. I could pick out bits and pieces of his words to support my negative bias toward him.

And I suspect the media will take quotes as well to use for negative headlines. Like when asked whether he had concerns about a Trump Presidency, his response was "of course I have concerns." What followed was him explaining that they have differences of opinions on several issues. But it wouldn't surprise me in the least to see a headline like: OBAMA ON TRUMP PRESIDENCY: "OF COURSE I HAVE CONCERNS!"

Okay, him having concerns is a true statement. How exactly is this statement twisted negatively? Unless you didn't watch any of Obama's campaign speeches, he had a lot more to say than "I have concerns".

Do you think Trump surrounding himself with ultra conservative white nationalist is not a concern for you? You think by him doing this, the hate between both sides will diminish?

I am being pretty partisan here. I give Trump his props. I am also annoyed at what the protesters or those black people beating up a white trump supporter. In fact I reported and condemned their behavior a day prior to your youtube video post about Chicago.

I am not referring to me twisting those words negatively. In hindsight, I should have put that part in a separate post. What I am stating there is that those words in CAPS & BOLD for a headline would be portrayed differently than they were actually meant in his speech. A headline that would go along with the media's ongoing attempt to make Trump look like a lunatic that will fire off a nuke if someone makes fun of his hair.

The media takes things out of context and blows things out of proportion? Shocking.

Of course not shocking to most. But it is the type of thing that adds fuel to the flame to those already looking to cause havoc while protesting.

We haven't had protests but I'm surprised we don't. One local city had swaztikas (I can't spell that, lol) painted on the sidewalks. My DD's Muslim friends and their white friends were crying the day after the election and were told to STFU and quit crying, start packing your bags by other students. No action was taken despite calling the school, they couldn't "find" the perpetrators even though the girls named them. Another school had drawings of lynches left in black children's desks. And I live in a blue state. There has never been a Muslim incident in my DD's school until after the election. People feel free to openly hate now. And appointing Bannon only solidifies that.

Right now people are openly showing biogtry and racism. A west virginia woman wrote about Michelle Obama being an "ape in heels". And a manager at chili took away an african american meal on veterans day. I am not sure where people are coming from. I think the statement that said before it was whispered in homes it's not coming out and being paraded about as something to be proud of.

Maybe if not saying merry christmas stopped people from expressing these thoughts maybe it's better. It sucks to not say merry christmas, but if makes those who are racist and bigoted ashamed to express their real feelings it might have been for the greater good.

Have you ever read the german paper? They said we are heading down the same path as 1930s germany.

Our school has put the kibosh on social studies teachers talking about Trump, the hate, any of it. Juniors and Seniors should be learning about this stuff as they are about to enter the real world. I am floored that the solution is to keep silent. That reminds me of Germany.

Trump supporters on FB are putting out memes that say stop watching CNN and stop following the news. Yeah, so he can pull another Bannon while nobody is watching. Nice try. Now is the time to keep your mind open and exposed to many sources of media.

Nice to learn about a school more focused on education than political propaganda. Get those kids ready for employment or college.
