  • Does anyone else drink on the job and work from home?

I've been working from home the past two years, and before that I worked for a company at home. On my break I could walk tot he local pizza place and get some beer there. Or after work before I got out early. I worked from home so my bosses never knew i was drinking whiskey and vodka at my desk. Well because i only talked via cell phone and e mail. So it was the perfect setup. I now work for myself and drink a cold beer while I "work" from home.

But yeah I was just wondering if anyone else liked to drink beer on the job or worked from home on this site!?

I could do my computer nursing notes at home, it would never have occurred to me to drink during work hours, especially if I was home, had a drink and then got called back out for an emergency. But even if I wasn't a nurse, I don't think I'd do it. That's just me, though and I don't drink much to begin with.

This is more and more appealing and since I'm not working, I can totally drink during the day! ahhh, a scotch and soda on the rocks, it's been so long

he posted this in another thread:

"I made tons of money this past week! But not in the stock market. There is no money in that for me. I rather invest in real money making things."

I'm putting money on owns Ashley Madison, lol. Perfect work at home job and no matter how bad the economy gets, people will still pay for sites like this.

hmmm, are they private or public, could be a good stock to have!

Used to be pretty common when taking clients to lunch to have a couple cocktails or beers.
I had a couple good clients that really liked to hit it hard. When i did lunch with those guys, I planned my day in advance and just went home after lunch. Didn't want to be back in the office wreaking of alcohol, plus I basically wasn't much good at work after that. Thank goodness that custom finally went away.

Drinking mid-day makes me sleepy. I'll save it for after five o clock and away from work.

No, I wouldn't want my job to ruin a good buzz.
